The view is spectacular and you experience this while swimming in their mountain-water pool, while having a meal, or even while getting a massage. There is a really good feeling to the whole property and we met some fantastic guests while we were staying there. It is refreshing to find such a beautiful place that has high standards, is giving back to the community, and has a lot of soul. Despite being a bit out of the way, there is still a lot to do in the area. For instance, the Mount Batur downhill cycling tour was great and is close.

There are cooking tours where you learn how to make Balinese food. Some other guests went for a walk in the area to a bamboo lookout spot very instagrammable. Or you can hang back at the resort and chat with Rick about mindfulness, emotional intelligence, or any soul-searching topic of your choice. What a place! You have to go there to experience it because 'atmosphere' is something that doesn't get picked up in photos. I keep going back because of the success of each of my retreats there.

The beauty and quality of the space is amazing and also, the energy is perfect for my type of retreats. As soon as you enter the retreat, there is a genuine feeling that you have left the noise of normal life well and truly behind and you have now entered a hidden and beautifully quiet sanctuary - A critical element to the success of any healing retreat. The photos on the website are accurate and not enhanced.

In fact, the space is even more beautiful in person. Food: The food is stunning and all made on the premises by wonderful cooks who go to great effort to cater for all dietary requirements. The food would easily compete with any top restaurant in Sydney.

Size of Retreat: The retreat is made up of 3 villas, with a total of 14 guest rooms on the entire premises. Of the 14 rooms, 4 are twin share the remainder are double beds. So you could accommodate 18 students if your students were sharing 2 to a room or 14 students if not sharing.

There is a yoga room, 3 swimming pools and 2 stunning pavilions where you can hold your workshop. Teaching Spaces: The teaching spaces are absolutely stunning and appropriately furnished for any style of retreat. The 2 pavilion workshop spaces are slightly different in size. What have my students said? Items such as crystals, jewellery, sing bowls, artwork… and all very good quality.

Massage: The retreat also provides massage and on my last trip one of my students said it was the best massage she has every had. Distance from Denpasar Airport: The retreat is approx. The retreat centre will offer a pickup and drop off service and their drivers are incredibly professional and polite. Late Checkout: Flights from Denpasar back to Australia cannot fly out until 10pm because of the Australian curfew, so the retreat owners Rick and Lita very graciously allow guests a late afternoon checkout on their day of departure.

I would highly recommend any retreat facilitator to bring their retreat to Heaven In Bali. Thank you so much Michelle, for your kind words. It has been our pleasure to host your retreats and interact with yourself and your amazing participants. We are looking forward to your next visit here. We stayed here for one night before the hike up mount batur, it is like no place we have stayed before, we arrived and our bags were taken to our room without us having to tell them who we were, we then had some lunch that was prepared there and then, it was fantastic!

The rooms are beautiful, with outdoor showers, waterfalls and glass to ceiling walls, the pool while a little chilly had fantastic views and was magnificently peaceful! What really makes this place is the staff, they will be as involved with your stay as you like, they're happy to sit and chat or leave you in peace, for the evening meal they set up candles and we ate while watching the sun set over the mountains, they supplied us with a fruit selection for breakfast and even jackets because they were worried we would be cold on the climb!

They also arranged transport to our next hotel and honestly could not have done more for us! They are the heart and sole of this place and it would not be the same without them!
