Neyva is a fascinating world that pulled me in and captivated my attention. This new world pulses with imagination that made me feel the warmth and the light along with the cold and darkness. Beyond the science fiction aspect of the trilogy, the richness of the characters rings true. While Sira remains the prominent character, the readers witness events from other perspectives. Plus, the addition of the betrayals, the friendships, the dangers, the hardships, and the romance combine perfectly.

Well-rounded characters with strongly-drawn relationships, a strong plot that runs through all three books. I particularly like the idea of telekinetic and ESP powers being tied so inextricably to musical talents. A beautiful story, well-executed. Highly recommend to a I read the fourth book in this series a number of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
