The characters aren't fleshed out as much as they could be, but they are fleshed out enough for this particular story. Let's face it, it is a oneshot yaoi, people aren't reading it for the life stories of the characters.
I did like the Micah character, and he was portrayed well enough. Yuki was a bit wimpier than I like to see, but that's ok. It is a matter of taste.

The end was a little rushed, but that is common with oneshots. The mangaka was probably limited to a certain number of pages. Still, it got the point across.
There were really no loose ends. You weren't left wondering what happened to Alex - like you often are with minor characters in these oneshots. The artwork was decent, far better than some others I've read. It wasn't perfect, but that's ok.
Other Albums
For those who like a simple, cute story this one is a good one to read. If you are into more complex, convoluted stories, you might not like it - you should stick with multi-volume series and avoid oneshots.

I, personally, thought this was a good late night read. It had me laughing, crying, and smiling while I read it. One person found this helpful. I will admit, I went into this book not expecting much. I've read nearly every BL manga on the market and some that haven't even made it to America yet , and June's selection of licensed books tends to be hit or miss with me. After hearing that this book was especially commissioned for an American release before a Japanese release, I was highly skeptical of its quality.
However, I was pleasantly surprised by this. It is tooth-achingly sweet to say the least. It's not original, and it follows every trope out there for BL manga. The main character Micah has a heart of ice that is amazingly melted by a random stranger Yuki. Their relationship moves quickly and despite all of the downsides to their relationship a top businessman taking himself out of the strategic marriage pool is but one of them , they preserve. No, you certainly won't be reading this book because you expect something new and different.
That said, Yuno Ogami's art is nice and clean, and though their relationship moves quickly, it feels well-paced within the confines of a single manga. L'Etole is definitely a good bit of Sunday afternoon reading, when you want something light and breezy.
