The Loonies completely shut Excalibur down initially, and they never have a rematch, as the Maladies defeat them at the end of the story. Posted by: fnord12 July 31, AM. If so, that would have been the last Marvel comic I read for about 12 years, because at this point in time pretty much every comic was awful. I feel really bad for you having to read this stuff, Fnord.
I imagine there must have been some dud years in the 's, but has to be some pretty atrocious times overall. Unless i blacked out entirely possible , he doesn't end up on Cheers.
RECOMMENDATIONS
He spends most of his time in a Wizard of Oz scenario and then rejoins the group at the end and they all go home in a hot air balloon ala Oz again. I was laughing out loud the entire time. The way each character interacts with each other is perfect and the way they handle the situation was very fitting. It also ends on a very nice note of the importance of family which turns a sad moment for Jonathan into something sweet that will bring a smile to your face.

There just something soothing about watching a child be happy about burning down a building. The art for this story to me was fitting. Everything is light and goofy. Clearly focused on the characters which once again follows up in the way this issue was written. We get some amazingly well-highlighted facial expressions that allow us a deeper window into their emotional state.
Some very impressive work overall from the artistic team. I adored every second of it. From the art to the character interaction and the humor. Everything seemed great about it. At an early age I knew I loved two things more than anything else Comic Books and Video Games and no matter how hard my parents tried they couldn't keep me away from the capes and pixels.
Now that I have a wife and child of my own I can't wait to share these vast worlds and experiences with them and hopefully you!
