Das wiederum macht Azazel wahnsinnig. Was hat Azazels Oma damit zu tun? Im zweiten Band wird es noch blutiger, verwirrender und spannender. Was mir schon beim ersten Band gefallen hat, wird hier noch deutlicher: Das ist doch das, was wir alle wollen? So jemanden lehnt man doch eher ab. Dieses Dilemma, in dem der Leser, aber auch gleichzeitig Azazel und Jason stecken ist wirklich spannend.

In fact, the definition of evil and the nature of choice and free will is at the very heart of this second book as Chambers tackles some very heavy issues for any YA book. This is what I love about her books, though. She unapologetically does not hold back. This is another book that begs for more attention, more marketing, more publicity, more exposure. This book needs to be read. Once again, please tell your friends, their friends, your grandmother and her friends, and total strangers on the streets about these books. How many times is Azazel almost going to be raped? It could be a drinking game. But yet I find it extremely entertaining and actually sort of fluffy despite all the violence and seriousness bits. Azazel was scary in this book. I like the progression of her character and how it kind of hits on how impacted teenagers are by their circumstances.

Again, just like with the first book, Breathless, this books is DARK and I definitely don't think it is good for teens. Apr 15, Krystal Conner rated it it was amazing.

My favorite character in this book is Hallm!! Is so believable as a character. Jan 03, Prismseven rated it it was amazing. It was interesting to learn more about them and how they influenced each other. I loved that the mystery surrounding Jason and Azazel keeps getting more intense and complicated. I enjoyed the irony of the revelation confirmed at the end and that there is an ambiguity surrounding both factions without one being clearly right or wrong. Trembling is a dramatic and dark young adult story and I look forward to continuing the Jason and Azazel series.

Book 2 continues Jason and Azazel's story. I really love them together even though they have a lot of obstacles to overcome. I keep forgetting that they are both still teenagers and have a lot of growing to do, but their love for each other is undeniable. Two characters I don't like are Jude and Lilith.

    4. I'm hooked on reading this series. At first when I started reading it said trilogy, but I see their is 9 books in total. I'll read them all. Hated Azazel in this book. Jason was also an ass. I was hoping the characters would learn to grow and mature this one just felt like a 5th grade romance. It keeps me on the edge of my seat!!! I just finished book one and two in less than 24 hours! I have a new favourite author!!!!! What an amazing series. I'm jumping straight into book 3 now. The author is so talented.
