Please try again later. I purchased this book as a guide to help me with the transition from working for a firm that had mostly small business clients to working the trust operations side of business. This book featured good material similar to a Series 7 prep book. Each chapter features quizzes, key terms, and exercises to make sure you have got the material down.

I highly recommend to anyone looking to work in the Securities Industry, Especially front office staff! This would be best suited for people looking to take their Series 7, or work as support staff for a BD.

Personally, this was nearly a waste, except that it is well written, a pleasure to read, and a good refresher. One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful. The book might have been a help thirty years ago.

I was surprised by the recent publication date. These days even the fundamentals have become more complex. Most of the questions I need answered were not addressed. Unless you don't even know what a bond for example is, you do not need this book.
