The Smell of Sunshine is the story that stood out the most. Los Tejanos and Lost Cause - A beautifully drawn historical comic. Stereotypical physical racial characteristics are over-exaggerated. Comics about Cartoonists HC - An utterly awesome collections of vintage comics about the struggles faced by comic artists. Simultaneously completely relevant to modern artists and a window into yesteryear.

This second book, however, has put me off of the series. Some are clever, and some are not. This book falls into the downright frustrating category. Right now I collect 8 and read a few more from my boyfriend and brother.

Prior to the New 52 I was reading , so 8 is a lot to me who is still new to comics. Narrowing down my comics and staying within budget is tough business.

This debut series is written by Kurtis J. Wiebe , illustrated by Tyler Jenkins , and published by Image Comics. Brave heroes, mystery, romance, and adventure are packed into one story. What else can you ask for?
