Forgot your username or password? User Info: Lunarious14 Lunarious14 4 years ago 1 So I've heard most people mention the werewolves in the upper cathedral ward as the ideal spot for farming chunks. However, I never had any luck getting the drops, and it was a bit of a pain luring them out each time to fight them one on one.
However, on one of my runs through Yahar'gul, Unseen Village, I learned that the zombie werewolves there drop them, and seemingly with a much higher rate, dropping them as their uncommon drop as opposed to their rare drop. The other wolves seemed to have a regular stone as a common drop, twin stones as an uncommon, and chunks as a rare drop.

Then I'd head back, drop down to the elevator, trigger it to go back up and then quickly getting off to avoid having to pull the lever when I go back through , then run over to the area before the boss taking out the gunner and the blob monster thingie along the way. When I go through the doorway into that final area before the boss, I run to the left but using the wagon as cover from projectiles , head around the wagon and make a u turn to go up the stairs away from the blob ignore the blob, if you keep running you he should deaggro once you reach the middle of the bridge , run up and kill the gunner quickly, then onward to the next wolf.
Finally, go forward kill the gunner on the stairs down, and then kill the final wolf. From there, I'd run to the lamp and restart. This method does get all three wolf kills, but it's probably a lot faster to run from the final lamp, and just kill the two wolves in the final area from there, and then just die and respawn.

I mostly kept at the other way to see if I could get the first wolf to drop a chunk, but never confirmed it. If he can't for some reason, then it's definitely faster to leave him out and run from the final lamp. Anyways, figured I'd put this out since I never hear about anyone farming this location for chunks. Even with the limited kills, it felt like it was going much faster then other methods I tried got two in a row on more then one occasion , so I feel like it's more then just a blessing from the RNG gods.
