O God, be merciful to me, a sinner. Lord, cleanse us from our sins! Master, pardon our transgressions! Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Thy name's sake. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deprive us not of Thy Heavenly Kingdom, but as Thou camest among Thy disciples, O Savior, giving them peace, so come to us and save us!

Before Supper The poor shall eat and be satisfied, and those who seek the Lord shall praise Him; their hearts shall live forever! Whoever eats of Him shall not die, O Birth-giver of God, according to the word of the Nourisher of all. More honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the Seraphim: Thou, O Lord, hast made us glad by Thy works; in the works of Thy hands shall we rejoice.

Lift up the Light of Thy countenance upon us, O Lord! Thou hast put joy in my heart. With the fruit of wheat, wine and oil have we been satisfied. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for Thou alone, O Lord, makest me to dwell in hope. I am the Lord thy God; thou shalt have no other Gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thyself any graven image. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Honor thy father and mother. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness. For Industries Suitable for Rogationtide. Prosper, we pray thee, the industries of this land; defend those who are engaged therein in their temptations and dangers, and grant that they, receiving the due reward of their labours, may praise thee by living according to thy will; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For Agriculture Suitable for Rogationtide. H AVE mercy, O Lord, upon all who labour in the cultivation of the land, and grant that by the power of thy grace their own souls may be fruitful unto good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord. For Fisheries Suitable for Rogationtide. Bestow thy blessing, we beseech thee, on the harvest of the waters, that it may be abundant in its season, and on our sailors and fishermen, that they may be safe in every peril of the deep, so that all with thankful hearts may acknowledge thee, who art the Lord of the sea and of the dry land ; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

O GOD, heavenly Father, who by thy Son Jesus Christ hast promised to them that seek first thy kingdom and thy righteousness, all things necessary to their bodily sustenance: Send us, we beseech thee, in this our necessity, such favourable weather [ or such moderate rain and showers] that we may receive the fruits of the earth to our comfort, and to thine honour; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

O GOD, the Father of all mankind, we beseech thee to inspire us with such love, truth and equity, that in all our dealings one with another we may shew forth our brotherhood in thee; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. O GOD, who in the eternal vigilance of thy love dost sustain the whole of human life, pour thy grace upon those who are compelled to stand idle in the market-place: Uphold them with heavenly hope; protect them from all dangers of body and soul, and fill us all with the spirit of service that none may want, but each, according to his need, may share in thy bountiful goodness; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Raise up, we pray thee, thy power and come among us and with great might succour us; lighten our adversities, that, all hindrances to prosperity being removed, there may be peace and plenty in all lands; through Jesus Christ our Lord. O GOD our Father, who art loving unto every man, and merciful in all thy works: Hear the prayers of thy Church, and grant such a measure of employment unto all thy children, that serving faithfully with hand and mind and receiving the due reward of their labour, they may rest in thee when their day's work is done; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

E TERNAL God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness and no strength known but the strength of love: We pray thee so mightily to shed and spread abroad thy Spirit, that all peoples and ranks may be gathered under one banner, of the Prince of Peace; as children of one God and Father of all, to whom be dominion and glory now and for ever. We yield thee hearty thanks for Thy merciful deliverance from the grave perils and dangers wherewith we were beset, and we humbly beseech thee to grant to all men a sense of the blessings of peace that wars may cease throughout the world; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who is the Prince of Peace, and ever liveth and reigneth with thee, in the Unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, world without end.

Grant us, we beseech thee, deliverance in this time of grievous sickness and mortality. Sanctify to us this affliction, and prosper with thy continual blessing those who labour to protect us against disease and pain; through Jesus Christ our Lord. We beseech thee to hear our prayers for all the sick and suffering, especially those for whom our prayers are desired, that by thy blessing upon them and upon those who minister to them they may be restored, if it be thy gracious will, to health of mind and body, and give thanks to thee in thy Holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let the prayers of thy children who cry out of any tribulation come unto thee; and unto every Christian soul that is distressed grant thou mercy, grant relief, grant refreshment; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Continue, we beseech thee, this his gracious work in our midst, especially in the Hospitals and Infirmaries of our land; cheer, heal and sanctify the sick and afflicted; to doctors and nurses grant skill, sympathy and patience; and send down thy blessing on all who labour and minister of their substance to prevent suffering and to forward thy purpose of love; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

O GOD of Infinite Majesty and Mercy, whom neither distance of place nor length of time can separate from those whom thou defendest, mercifully assist thy servants especially. Let no misfortune befall them, no difficulty hinder them, but do thou prosper their journey and bring them to the place where they would be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Be present, we beseech thee, with our brethren in the manifold dangers of the deep; protect them from all its perils; prosper them in their course; and bring them in safety to the haven where they would be, with a.

O Holy Jesus, most merciful redeemer, Friend and brother, May I know thee more clearly, Love thee more dearly, And follow thee more nearly: For ever and ever. O LORD, support us all the day long of this troublous life, until the shades lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then, Lord, in thy mercy grant us safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Grant them thy peace; let light perpetual shine upon them; and in thy loving wisdom and almighty power work in them the good purpose of thy perfect will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us pray also for the whole Commons of this Realm that they may live in the true faith and fear of God, in dutiful obedience to the King, and in brotherly love and charity one towards another.

But for the sake of all, let us pray for the Clergy, whether Bishops, Priests or Deacons; that they may shine as lights in the world and adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things; for all Judges, [ especially for His Majesty's Judge of Assize now present; ] for all Magistrates of this Realm, and especially for the High Sheriff of this County, and for the Chief Magistrate of this [ ancient and royal ] city [ borough ].

To our prayers let us add our unfeigned praises for mercies already received, for our creation, preservation, and for all the blessings of this life, but above all for the inestimable love of God our Heavenly Father in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.

Finally let us praise God for all His servants departed this life in His faith and fear; beseeching Him to give us grace so to follow their good examples that this life ended, we may dwell with them in life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose most perfect form of prayer we conclude our imperfect addresses to the throne of grace ;.

We bless thee for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life ; but above all, for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.

And, we beseech thee, give us that due sense of all thy mercies, that our hearts may be unfeignedly thankful, and that we shew forth thy praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives; by giving up ourselves to thy service, and by walking before thee in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom with thee and the Holy Ghost be all honour and glory, world without end.

W E humbly beseech thee, O Father, mercifully to look upon our infirmities and for the glory of thy name turn from us all those evils that we most righteously have deserved and grant, that in all our troubles we may put our whole trust and confidence in thy mercy, and evermore serve thee in holiness and pureness of living, to thy honour and glory; through our only Mediator and Advocate, Jesus Christ our Lord.
