As a whole, the series was pleasant and very readable to a rambunctious 6 year old.

    Each chapter is five to ten minutes worth of reading aloud, and each usually ends on a minor cliffhanger, often leading to "one more chapter, puhleeeeeeeeeeeeease? If you've a beginning reader who loves fairies, you'll probably like this series.
