As a whole, the series was pleasant and very readable to a rambunctious 6 year old.

The protagonist a faerie princess, natch is fairly fleshed out. Each chapter is five to ten minutes worth of reading al This review is mostly for the whole of The Faeries' Promise series, rather than just The Full Moon.
Each chapter is five to ten minutes worth of reading aloud, and each usually ends on a minor cliffhanger, often leading to "one more chapter, puhleeeeeeeeeeeeease? If you've a beginning reader who loves fairies, you'll probably like this series.
