Hi, I'm really sorry about the poor experience on you visit.

I do appreciate the feedback and will follow up with the team. We had a few issues with kitchen equipment failures recently and this put some strain on the kitchen and the team but there should have been no reason for substandard food or service. All I can say is this is not representative of the majority of our diners experience and if you would like to visit us again we'll do everything we can to make a more positive impression. We spent a lovely evening at the Old Bakery yesterday. The setting is ideal, right in the centre of town and there is a great selection of food, all well prepared and decent sized portions given it is a tapas style menu.

The service is also excellent and the staff were really helpful in accommodating my fussy son. Well worth a visit if staying locally at any time.

It covers the points but again seems unable to truly deliver the depth that these points deserve. Despite that the performances of Stephanie Zimbalist and Mike Connors are very good and less melodramatic than these roles would be in more recent TV movies. What this all boils down to is that "Long Journey Back" is an interesting movie especially when you compare it to more recent similar movies. But whilst dated and understandably inferior than some modern movies it is worth watching purely for the climax which puts everything in to context.
