Soon they are undeniably drawn to each other. The blurb sounded like an interesting romantic suspense story. This is actually a very slow moving contemporary romance. I only finished pages before giving up on it. Ind The blurb on the back of the book says that India Devlin returned to her hometown when her brother was found murdered on the steps of the lighthouse on their family property.

India really didn't seem all that interested in finding out who killed her brother. She hasn't gone to the police about it.

To complicate matters, Ry has left behind his six year old step daughter, Corri. Corri's mother, Ry's wife was killed two years earlier in a boating accident. Now the child is left alone. Leaving India with a choice, ignore the child's need and continue on with her demanding career three hours away from Corri, and Nick. Or rethink the direction her life should be heading.

Coming home for India means facing a demon she left behind years ago. I like this series. This book started out a bit slow. It takes a long time to establish the story and the characters. It picks up the pace when they start getting into the mystery aspect. It was a nice love story, with an unexpected twist thrown in at the end.
