The room was well stocked with all the things you would expect and some extra little touches that made you feel at home. The location was on a less frequented side of Phillip Island, so you can wander the beaches without having to worry about a throng of other tourists. Our gracious hosts were lovely, chatty and accommodating. It is clear that they love running their business. The staff were great and very friendly.
The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and clean, though the lounge area was very small in the two bedroom cabin. The main disappointment was there was no pool facilities and the location was on the edge of Phillip Island so a little bit far from Cowes. As with always just ring before arrival to confirm booking and sort out late arrival details. We might have had a slightly less smooth arrival to the island otherwise so late at night. No washing machine in the apartment itself. Do note that the toilet is really small and it's not convenient if u guys need to bathe your babies or toddlers.

Their Tom Yam soup is one of the best we have tasted. A bit ex though.. Such a lovely stay here and the owner is very nice. We will definitely come back to this hotel in future.
The hostess Sue was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The house is a lovely setting with a fountain out the front and a nice garden setting. It is close to the centre of town a short 5 minute walk. We will be heading back to here when we return to Phillip Island. Super nice place to stay and relax. Next to the beach and the hosts are super welcoming and helpful. Wallabies jumping around in the garden and you directly feel relaxed at this place.
Highly recommend if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and to explore Phillip Island. Though they were other competitive high end accommodation nearby, this place gave you the feeling of home away from home. If you don't like the typical hotel setting this place is a must and at a reasonable price.

Perhaps visit during the warmer seasons as pool was Perhaps visit during the warmer seasons as pool was too cold for the young ones to have a dip. Would recommend bringing your own toiletries and other essentials and depending on what deal you get from booking sites full linen is provided and will be charged for extra. Other than that will be returning here if we visit the island again. Stayed for just one night, only 1km from the penguin parade. Excellent room and the best breakfast spread we had during our travels.

The Secret Commonwealth
We received a very warm welcome after a long journey, settled in briefly before whizzing off to the Penguin Safari. Our room was very clean and well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic. My wife is gluten intolerant and this was not a problem for the chef. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Great location and beautiful apartment, would definately recommend. The only disappointment was with the sliding door not being able to lock. Everything was close by-the beach, shops, the attractions.

Bed wasn't comfortable enough for us. Didn't bother us but for the price you're paying a WiFi should be a standard amenity. The owner Ms Ann is super nice and friendly. The bed is superb. Jacuzzi is nice as well. Even though when i book with Agoda it said breadfast is not included, Ms Ann prepare breakfast for us.
Homemade cookies by Ms Ann is nice as well. Towels, amenities, slippers is provided as well, overall its just like you're checking in to a 5 star hotel. Fantastic for seeing native animals. The scenery is also pretty good. You don't need to leave the island for anything, except maybe a whole fish to cook.
Surprisingly you have to go to San Remo to get a whole fish to bake and not on the island. Go figure. We loved our visit to Phillip Island and wish we could stay longer. Recommend staying at least 3 nights. When it's busy there, the local shops particularly the food shops appear run off their feet and several times ran out of basic food items. Many different amazing and varied beaches, bay side or surf side. Wildlife galore.
Nature parks, farmland as well as suburbia. Very impressive to see so many penguins in the Penguin Parade though it was very cold on the beach and we had to wait for over an hour! We are also very lucky to see a lot of kangaroos by the road side when driving to the Nobbies Centre. I have spent a lot of time at this destination since I was a small child. It continues to get better and better and I now enjoy it with my adult children.
The Bobbies is well worth a visit.
