Mar 06, Mikel Rhodes rated it really liked it. A hard way to grow up, in a hard land. The characters are very believable and true to the books time in history. The weapons are authentic to the time period. The author has, in my opinion, done a excellent job of writing a book true to its time and history.

X-Caliber Mix Vol. 2

I highly recommend this excellent western. Sep 24, Vicki rated it it was amazing. I'm so lucky to have found this author and his western stories. Just enjoy reading them. The first western books I remember reading were "Zane Grey" books. The books by Mr. Robertson remind me of them. The romance is not x-rated and it's not missed because you are so into the characters and what they are doing.

I was enthralled from the first pages to the very end. Clay is not your average 17 year old. He thinks and learns quick and draws faster.

This is an easy enjoyable read in the John Wayne tradition of "A man' s gotta do what a man' s gotta do" even if he loses his girlfriends. May 21, D. He returns to find his Pa, Mom absence killed. He squares away the ranch and prepared to chase the men. He follows the men to their place in western Texas and slowly begins the hunt. It was a real page turner. I liked the story very muh.
