It's the challenge of earning and saving that really drives us. It's more about the confidence of having enough money to buy what we want, be it experiences or objects.

The Butterfly Moments by Renée S. Bess

And if you look back at your life, some of the best experiences you've had may not have cost you anything at all. So don't focus on the money, focus on the experience. Gain maximum value from what you have. In this age, where newer models of things are coming out every second month, it's only human to wonder if you should switch to the next best one. But ask yourself many questions before you do that: Does what you have currently not serve you well enough?

Have you gained enough use from it that you need to discard it and buy a new one? Are you doing it for yourself or are you doing it to fit in with the crowd and flaunt a new acquisition? Maximum value comes from maximum use, so before you let go of anything, ensure you've used it to the fullest.

Start living with a sense of purpose. Purpose can mean different things for different people.

But the common thread that connects purpose is the fact that it goes beyond material and social trappings. It pushes you to live and act with conviction. It's what makes you wake up in the morning raring to go and ready to meet the world with a smile. It scares you but at the same time it gives you an adrenaline high. Purpose is about adding meaning to your life each and every day.

It's something that will define your life and make everything else irrelevant. It will make you spot butterflies on the path that you walk. I now see butterflies almost every day of my life. And when they hover around me, I feel blessed and fulfilled. And my honest advice to you, to add more "butterfly moments" to your life, simply follow your heart! We request your view! Ritika, You are doing a wonderful job of motivating person across continents. You help bridge the remembrances which are forgotten though they are priceless. Very nice feelings expressed by you. Every sentence is worth remembering. Real values of life is expressed with touching feeling. If you believe it will not happen, then it does, you tend to get excited. Come here and look at this. Woo hoo, good girl!

That may be because she just opened her hand, the one that does not work well. These tiny triumphs that mean so much.

A Butterfly Moment

I spoke to a dad recently about his child with special needs, we spoke about how we love our children. He said he loved his different type of perfect child in a different way but could not explain why or how. We often do love our kids differently, not more or less than each other but different. I love my year-old son with all my heart and soul, as I do his little sister. I guess the love I have for her is different because my role in her life is different, she is so much more vulnerable and needs me in different ways.

My son had the luxury of being able to be independent, a luxury my daughter does not have. He will soon be a man living his life as he sees fit, my daughter will require me to be with her for many many years maybe forever to help her do so many things. This is the reason the love is different. My son no longer needs me to be there all the time, my daughter depends on me being there all the time. Everyday I hope for a moment, a woo hoo moment with my daughter. These come on a regular basis and each moment can be tiny and pass quickly.

As I type I can hear her singing with her mum in the living room. For her and us. This morning, she gave me a hug when she got out of bed; she signed I love you last night; I heard her laugh this morning Butterfly moments come always. The struggles of raising a child with a special need are immense but the rewards are amazing. They come maybe less often and slowly, but they come.

I love my children, each has shown me so much, each in a different way. I am going to sing with my daughter now. Today is a good day and I want to play with her. I just want to be a normal year-old. Proud to be Kiwi, but I don't know much about my country. All Blacks' loss to the Springboks a wake-up call.

Hate hurts, especially when it's just for something you believe. What were they thinking? Shark cage divers aren't the problem. Everyday I feel guilty for having an epidural. Te reo has helped my life and my career.

I picked this book up for several reasons: The romance that developed between two older women who are comfortable in their own skins, but somewhat jaded by life and relationships and a bit shy about their aging bodies, was done very realistically and sweetly.

The mystery part is somewhat predictable and not too detailed, however, it was nicely woven and integrated with the romantic angle, which made this story much more I picked this book up for several reasons: The mystery part is somewhat predictable and not too detailed, however, it was nicely woven and integrated with the romantic angle, which made this story much more appealing than it might have been.
