I cannot recommend this mans work enough. He is a top notch observer and show the path back to sanity for those of us lost in the world of disturbed characters. In the tradition of Dr. Simon's previous books, this one is chock full of insight and wisdom. His writing voice is somewhat obscured, in my opinion, by the collaborator, however, and there are quite a few typos and editing issues. This would've been a five star review otherwise, but I found those issues quite distracting.

    Hopefully any subsequent reprint will correct the mistakes. Still, Dr. Simon is clearly an expert in these types of relationships. He offers great perspectives and sound advice for those wrestling with character issues. There is hope and he directs the reader to it. Overall, well worth the purchase price.

    Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. This book has been a really good read and insightful. It has helped me grow as a man and to see what areas I need to work on. It had given me the tools to identify disordered characters from a far and to stay well away.
