She did a GREAT job of writing the "real" parts and, as usual, the fictional parts are never wanting! Once again she takes us on a book vacation to her fictional land of royalty, this time to San Majoria with Crown Princess Astrid.

Heart of a Prince

Can't help but love Jordan and Sofia, too! Anyone who loves contemporary Christian fiction that have a fictional royalty base, you will love Moncado's books! I was given an ARC by the author. All thoughts and comments are my own. Apr 04, Ogz rated it liked it. With his heart, he landed on a private beach and found himself loving the Princess. I gave this book 3 stars because it was more about organ donation than anything else, which I find very emotional and heart warming.

I think this book is half a star. No offence to the author but it was quite cheesy and so unrealistic. I wish there was more to it. I was expecting Isaiah to do something to both Eyjanian and the San Majorian families. Quite disappointing to be honest. Jul 16, Susan Snodgrass rated it really liked it.

Casting Crowns - Thrive - Full Album

I am a royal watcher, Great Britain mostly, and I adore her royalty books. She starts a new series here and it's off with a bang. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It's like she is taking her reader inside the royal houses in her stories and we all have a 'fly on the wall' view. Great story! My opinions are my own and honest. This book was a sweet romance story involving a princess and a Canadian. The tone of the book was lighthearted, but with a touch of suspense. Astrid had a tragic past, losing her husband to an accident before she could tell him she was pregnant. The main part of the story starts two years later. Jordan was a hockey-loving Canadian who also enjoyed a number of other sports, though he was limited in how much he could do due to heart issues.

Sophia is Astrid's delightful daughter.

I loved the way This book was a sweet romance story involving a princess and a Canadian. I loved the way Jordan brought his love for hockey into so many things, even teaching 20 month old Sophia how to play. The tentative relationship between Jordan and Astrid that was constantly changing as she struggled with whether or not he could be trusted was touching and realistic. Jordan was the perfect hero, trying to learn how to fit into the world of royalty and the public.

The story was told from both Jordan's and Astrid's viewpoints in a third-person narrative, switching back and forth between their perspectives. Though there are characters in this book from other books by Carol Moncado, this book can stand alone. The author lists this as Christian fiction, but there is not really anything in the book other than the couple being Christians and attending church that would give any hint that it should perhaps fall in that category.

Jul 16, Marylin rated it it was amazing Shelves: books-reviewed. Another fantastic Royals story by Carol Moncado. In this story she weaves some of our favorite characters from a few past book and blended them together nicely.

Queen of Hearts

Hopefully there will be many more to come! The author has brought warmth and heart tugging moments to this book. It deals with some touching issues of loss, grief, organ donation, and the possibility of finding love again. This book didn't disappoint me. There were times I had tears in my eyes, times I laughed out loud, and times I wanted to scream at the characters. All of this makes a fantastic storytelling and Carol Moncado is a master storyteller!

Mar 17, Pattisue rated it really liked it Shelves: juvenile-fiction. Canadian Jordan Haines is just visiting for the summer. His kindness and love will finally heal her broken heart. Great family connections and support.

Moncado has created a unique, storybook universe. I love her royal romances. Mar 25, Carrie rated it really liked it. In the Heart of a Prince, we have the following: - A grieving crown princess who wants to keep her identity a secret. Will their relationship develop into a long lasting love?

Queen of Hearts (Queen of Hearts Saga, #1) by Colleen Oakes

The In the Heart of a Prince, we have the following: - A grieving crown princess who wants to keep her identity a secret. The characters are believers. They get married, so there is bedroom activity mentioned in passing, but there aren't any graphic descriptions. I liked this novel by Carol Moncado. Having a Canadian hero and Canadian-isms, such as the Timbits Minor Hockey program, was an added plus. Mar 12, Barbara Keigher rated it it was amazing.

I liked that it had Biblical principles. For example, the young man, determines not to look at the Princesses body because to do so would tempt him to lust after her, and in any case, he knew it was not something she had 'invited' him or other men to do. I enjoyed the story very much. The couple had some 'problems' but they were not something that became endlessly overworked as some authors do sometimes and it becomes a bit tiring. If I were to have any wish, it would be that it had more, I liked that it had Biblical principles.

If I were to have any wish, it would be that it had more, Bible scripture quotes and application. Nevertheless, it was well written, held my interest, enjoyed the characters etc. There was no swearing or heavy sexual scenes. I recommend this author. I do hope she will in fact add more Christian applications and Bible quotes etc in the future. Oct 26, Olivia Cortis rated it really liked it. Jul 22, Martha rated it really liked it.
