Everything is written as though the information was found online. It seems like a laundry list of what is available, not necessarily places that are worth going to maybe they think it's worth going to because it exists???
Nothing is given ratings or timetables, so you don't know if something is worth seeing or how long to plan on staying there. Most attractions also don't say the admission fees unless it is free. The same types of attractions are listed for each city, but rarely is something mentioned about what makes one different from the next. For example, different parks are often listed with the size and activities biking, horseback riding, hiking, boating but nothing more.
Are there boats or horses for rent, how strenuous are the hikes and will I be hiking in forested areas, near water, fields etc? Most cities seem to have a historical museum, but again, since many nearby cities have similar histories I probably don't want to go to every one and would like some guidance on the best. Almost every vineyard listed has an award winning something I don't mind going to a "just ok" vineyard if I'm already in the vicinity, but if I'm making the trip just for the vineyards I want it to be great.

The restaurants listed seem to be incredibly biased toward old fashioned Texas cooking, when I know that some of these cities have wonderful restaurants that were not listed. I don't want to eat a chicken-fried steak in every city though it might be helpful to know which restaurants have the best The listings don't even mention what the unique dishes are for each restaurant.
Finally-and this is a small point-why does the beginning of each day trip have a picture of the San Antonio riverwalk? They venture the miles to Waco, but did not bother about the 29 miles to Lockhart, where there is top tier sausage and the beautiful Caldwell County Courthouse.
