We waited 10 minutes before being seated. A bit ridiculous I felt especially when all we ordered was a salad and a steak, not complicated dishes. I noticed others who were seated later than us have their food brought fairly quick. Not sure what happened there but after reading reviews I see that this seems to be an ongoing problem. The food was good but the wait too long so that is why they only got 3 stars.

We had a very enjoyable experience. Our server was personable and very helpful. Hangover burger was spot on! This was one of the best meals I've had anywhere! The food was delicious and the service was good. Was blown away w the Pork chop dinner, also loved the flank steak. Was a perfect evening for wife and I before a show at River City. Will def be back. Great food, cool atmosphere and nice craft beer selection.

Service was very good also. So nice to have a place in downtown Wheeling to get a great meal! We hung out at the bar after dinner for the live entertainment. Had a blast. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town. Overall it was a good experience.

We had a great waitress! The atmosphere is definitely nothing to write home about, but it wasn't loud which is great. I think they need to be careful about the prices. That was a big issue that was brought up. I think also they need to do more homemade things. Don't try too hard to be a foodie restaurant before you make sure that your items are all homemade rather than frozen.

I love to see local owned restaurants succeed.

I hope that the owners don't try too hard to be a foodie restaurant and make sure they work hard to be a good restaurant first and foremost. I definitely plan to go back! We have eaten at the Vagabond Kitchen at least a half dozen times. The food quality is always outstanding and the service is also very good. It has a nice casual laid back atmosphere as well as different menu items outside of the regular menu items. The service was very friendly and speedy, and the food was amazing as always. Never disappointed!

We walked in and weren't sure how it would be because the set up wasn't that special. The menus weren't very official.

But the food Wonderful for our date night. Great night out! Fantastic food check out the specials! Definitely recommend it!!!! Good food, but the atmosphere was too laid back, even for me. Would eat lunch here. I want to give this place a chance as there are few restaurants of note in this city. The entrees were good. Wine list non-existent. They were busy this particulate night. There were bits of goat cheese on the salad. When I told our waitress who was very good with this one exception that i tried to eat around it but could not, she replied that she told the kitchen "but they were soooo busy And some places need to try harder to be great rather than just think they are.

I thought the humus and pita bread was delicious.

My hamburger was cooked to perfection. I would definitely go back. I just wish there was more variety in regards to the entrees. The food was excellent. Service was good, but acceptable as the restaurant was extremely busy. Good news for downtown Wheeling. This was our first visit to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend.
