There was a little fridge in the room. Staff had suggestions for restaurants when asked. Everything was clean and though the house seems to have quite a few rooms, and must have been fairly full, because a lot of people came down for breakfast, but it never got overly loud. The house is also within walking distance of many, many attractions, restaurants and shopping. No thermostat in the room and we were not told how to turn it up or down the room got so hot as someone else turned the thermostat in the hall way up which controlled ours room the staff have to inform the guests of this.

Save time, save money!

The girl on duty was not at the desk due to her duty of ironing in the basement rang bell 8 times and no answer so finally we had to call so we could get in It was not her fault it is the Hotel's fault. Clean, and a wonderful breakfast. This is a historic house, yet the furniture in our room was modern and had vinyl thrown on top to protect it.

Also in the parlour they were selling backpacks, handbags and sunglasses.

Not appropriate. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was much appreciated. Great heritage home with central location for easy travel throughout the entire island. Very tired old building with unkempt exterior, torn screens, and portable air conditioners. Very convenient to historic downtown and walking trail along harbour. Excellent breakfast.

Obvious effort to make an old building comfortable. The bathroom was quite small and would be very confining for larger people. There was not enough parking space for everyone on the property and limited 24 hour street parking. The bed was very firm and comfortable, just the way we like it.

A full hot breakfast and good coffee was appreciated every morning. The staff were super friendly and helpful. People who do not leave at check out time!! People before us did not check out at the appropriate time therefore we could not go into the room we had paid for. Because they were completely full for the evening, they paid for another room at another place.

Then gave us breakfast in the morning! The bathroom is tight.

The most delicious breakfast in our trip. The sheets are very soft and comfortable. Staff are nice. The room is spacious and charming. Our room was up three flights of stairs and tucked away with low ceilings and a bathtub with a hand spray and no shower. Beautiful old home in a beautiful neighborhood. Parking is provided. The location could not be better. Saw a play and it wa a five block walk. Everything is within easy walking distance.

The bathroom is quite small, with a shower that is of the cruise ship variety, so that the shower floor felt a bit unstable to me. This is a Victorian era home, so you feel like you have gone back in time. The location was excellent; well within walking distance of the harbor, good restaurants, shops and bars. That's great, because parking in that area is at a premium.

Our room was quite small, but with a large walk-in closet. Breakfast was buffet style, and adequate. Very clean but bedroom decor and furnishings unappealing in our one room. Breakfast as nice but the early bird gets the worm. Loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed good coffee and muffins on the front porch.

Staff was engaging and easy to interact with. Nice place to come home too at the end of the day. Looking forward to our next visit. There were ashtrays some full of cigarette butts on the deck, they were storing a head and foot board in the sitting room, which didn't exactly make it seem available, the room was cheaply "finished," it took three presses of the bell which rang like a telephone and told us no one was available before someone came to the door, and the shower facilities were such that we decided to wait until we gor home to shower towels were dingy as well.

The bed was comfortable. The curtains were difficult - but that is minor, and they did work, so really no problem. Just a design thing. It was lovely, everyone was friendly and helpful, and location was perfect. It was all the time a very good breakfast in the mornig , and the emplojers were very kind and friendly. It was a very nice and quiet place in the best aria of Charlottetown.

The property

It was very good location. Easy walking distance to the park and the harbour. Very comfortable, clean, cute house and good breakfast. Really friendly staff! It was in a perfect location. We visited historic buildings, the waterfront and restaurants, and all within walking distance. The staff at The Eden Hall were wonderful. We definitely would stay there again! The room needed to be aired. I had to buy air freshener. Some of the furniture in the bedroom was shabby. Only 2 coat hangers. Lovely old building.

Great location. On-site parking was tight. Wall hardware for shelf above sink was there but no shelf was present. Similarly, part of towel rack hardware was on wall but the towel rack itself was missing. For breakfast on the first day food was not replenished despite running out early in the breakfast time window They were better about this on the second day and did replenish the waffles. The host displayed selective hospitality to guests.

For example, at breakfast time the host would go from table to table and sit down for a few minutes to chat. Some tables were skipped in what appeared to be a very deliberate manner. Secure rooms with key-card access. Good quality and fresh breakfasts with many options available scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon waffles, bagels, cereal, etc.

Nice porch with good seating and views of water. Within walking distance of water and downtown. Cleaning staff were highly visible and very friendly. At my age, 80 next month, the walk up two high flights to the third floor "Lost Room" was just about my limit for carrying the bags. However, I was happy to be able to do it.
