Don't pass this one up in the middle of the beautiful Appalachian area with soooo much to do! My family had a great time at the cabin, wonderfully clean and updated decor. Theresa definitely goes the extra mile in trying to make everyone feel at home in the cabin, lots of thoughtful amenities. Wonderful views and very well kept home. The owners are very easy to work with and very responsive. The information and rulebook was very in depth and detailed which we appreciated as this was our first time renting an Airbnb. Expect a warm homey place to step into on arrival the welcome desk conveniently located at end of the entrance hall has a basket of tasty snacks waiting to greet you Everything is well stocked the laundry room has multiple choices of laundry detergents the fridge and freezer stocked with multiple choices of food items as are the pantries more than sufficient towels blankets and pillows all that is needed to have a great time is to just bring yourself.
Theresa is an exceptional host and this home is stunning. I treated my dad to a 70th birthday road trip back to his roots in Virginia and we were in awe of this location. So beautiful, wonderful property, great amenities, surrounded by nature and peace. So many thanks to Theresa for making a gorgeous space like this available for this incredibly special occasion!! Highly recommended. What a great place.

Our daughter goes to LMU we spent the weekend there with our family visiting her. Had a great time just hanging out enjoying the house. Such a sweet little room! It was very stylish and quiet. We absolutely loved it! What a sweet town as well. House was clean, stylish, and just on the edge of town. Perfect for my overnight stay on my roadtrip passing through Kentucky! Betsy and her house is on of the best places me and my wife have stayed at. Her house is excellent and Betsy is a fabulous host. Have booked for the third time.
Betsy is an outstanding host! She is very welcoming, my girlfriend and I felt like we have known her for years, she really makes you feel home, especially than in the morning Betsy had breakfast prepared for us, that really is a unique touch, which brings your airbnb experience to the next level. Betsy's place is very spacious, clean and comfortable.
One of most exciting things that also happens to us is that we saw wild bears in the morning on one of our days there. Betsy and Art have created a wonderful place to stay for anyone visiting this region. The home and grounds are beautiful, quiet, and serene, and the location is very convenient for anyone interested in exploring the wider area.

I particularly enjoyed being able to use the patio space and kitchen. Would highly recommend! Betsy was a great host! The beds were comfy, the house is at the quiet end of town near some woods, everything was clean and delightful. She cooked us a fabulous breakfast with farm-fresh eggs and homemade sausage and was very accommodating for food allergies.
She was very responsive, and a great conversationalist but it was OK to also just be by ourselves. Staying with her is a great way to enjoy the beauty of southeast Kentucky! This was my first time staying in a short term housing more than 3 weeks! From the very beginning Karen was quick to respond and very accommodating!
It was close to my job and I was also able to see some beautiful parts of SW Virginia! Karen is a very helpful host and was available throughout the stay for any questions.
She has a clean relaxing place to stay in a quiet community. Beautiful cabin and views of the river. Absolutely love the place. Kim and Robert were very hospitable and guys in the lil community very helpful with information and willing to help us when we get moved to the area if we need anything. This place is amazing. Otters, ducks and geese on a clean river. Starry skies and really quiet nights. You may want to pack in your food and coffee!

Super nice and very helpful with tips on where to go and what to see. We spent some time in their store using the wi-fi and everyone we met was just so nice. Right on the river with no real neighbors, you could really relax and unplug. The back deck is fantastic, I think we ate every meal out there and I spent hours just enjoying the quiet while Chris fished.
We saw beaver, carp, catfish, 3 kinds of turtles, and various birds. It really was fantastic. If you want a place to reconnect with each other, just relax and enjoy nature, or just get away from it all, this is it. Beautiful location along the Clinch River. We were able to visit friends in the valley and tour the area. Large deck and bbq, fire pit, and well stocked home. Enjoyed our stay. Very clean, pleasant place to take it easy.

Beautiful views and laid-back atmosphere. Kim and her husband are friendly and helpful. Nice ,quiet place to stay. That is very well located, with everything you need for a stay away from home. We had such a relaxing time!

Only 1 minute from Kingdom Come State Park. A must to see! Bring your hiking shoes. Rite Aid and a few shops 10 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. We got quick responses to questions. Area was quiet. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Peacefully, quiet, and the perfect choice for pet owners with the fenced yard. This house worked out perfect for my family and me. Perfect location and great accommodations. We had a large party and it was nice that we could all stay together. What a beautiful setting!

I'm not sure where to start. The food was delicious, the home was spacious, beautiful, and a peaceful location. Betsy, was an absolutely top notch hostess! There were 6 of us who stayed, and one of them had a birthday that day. With prior arrangements Betsy made supper for us AND a birthday cake for our friend!
We had a wonderful time talking with her and she made us feel so at home and welcome.
