Trams and metro stop at midnight so after that it is a taxi. It will cost around TL. There is no night rate just one fixed rate day and night now. Ask the cost BEFORE you get in the car and make it very obvious to the driver that you are making a note of his taxi number clearly painted on all sides and roof of the vehicle pen and paper?

Not all taxi's are crooks to be fair,but if they know their number has been taken then they are less likely to try to rip you off :- You need to be at the airport by I am sure the THY tour guide will be happy to drop you off in the city and not insist you go back to the airport.
