See a Problem?

Our nation suffers from an epidemic of "upside-down thinking" and we are poorer and weaker for it. That is the central premise of this new book by Rod Parsley.

  • Vermiss mein nicht: Roman (German Edition).
  • The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass [with Biographical Introduction].
  • Interlude in E-flat Major.
  • Living On Our Heads: Righting an Upside-Down Culture - eBook.
  • Dogskin Boy!
  • Aging with Attitude: Better than Dying with Dignity.

With a tone that is mildly satirical, Parsley uses humor and good-natured mockery liberally to poke fun at the absurdity of the twisted positions held by so many cultural elites. Good and evil, right and wrong, tragic and heroic-these were at one time well-defined terms in our cultural lexicon. Yet what was then obvious has now become obscure, and it requires an unashamedly bold and independent observer to point out just how upside down we have become. Rod Parsley not only describes a culture that has lost its way but also provides a way forward-upright and facing true north. Rod Parsley is the author of more than fifty books, including his most recent New York Times best seller Culturally Incorrect.

His daily television program is viewed by millions worldwide.

He is the president and founder of the Center for Moral Clarity and the founder and senior pastor of World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio, where he resides with his wife, Joni, and their two children, Ashton and Austin. Righting an Upside-Down Culture - eBook.

Product Description

Search by title, catalog stock , author, isbn, etc. Living On Our Heads: You almost don't mind being shown the truth about yourself with Parsley's pleasing delivery. It maintains the same laser focus on our culture's decline as it races away from biblical principles. The approach, however, is much different. While CI could be and has been written at the level of a college textbook, this is much more informally written, with great flashes of wit. Highly recommended for anyone who cares about where we're going as a nation and how we can fix what's wrong.

Rod Parsley shares so much that is contraversial. Looks at many different contempory views, whether you follow it , know them, or have experienced them. I didnt get too much out of this, as it certainly showed the absurdity of our society and views. One person found this helpful. See all 3 reviews. There's a problem loading this menu right now.
