I loved the first two books and was excited to read this one because Jack Shane's writing about helicopter combat reminds me of two of my favorite authors, Richard Herman Jr and Stephen Coonts, but this one was a let down. Its like Jack finished Southern Cross and decided he didn't want to write the books anymore so he just churned out Anarchy's Reign to end it.

The book is shorter than the first two or at least feels that way and has a dark cloud hanging over it from the beginning. I should've mown the yard. Simplistic, implausible story lines, grammatical errors, and non-sensical events. Sheriff Kemp delivers a "passionate kiss" to Col. Xbat's final Battle is filled with action, suspense and one thrill after another. TF is real, it exists and is still in action today.
The Nightstalker battalion is well known for it's unequaled opposition. Thanks for another great read. Your characters are believable and the writing is about supposed events, but as a reader, it becomes very easy to accept as real. Don't miss reading this one! This series as are most series of stories is as well produced as the others. I must say though that the fact that they are so predictable begins to make them less exciting as you read more of them.
The most difficult thing for me is the repetitious explanation of the use and sort of weaponry and the abc soup of words used by almost everyone today. Sorry but that is how I feel.
