Overall very good, Tagua nut with a rough spot on the back, creature hatching from egg with small repair to top of wing.

Asia, 18th through 20th century. The lot comprised of various Chinese porcelain wares including examples in blue and white and Doucai enamels. Together with an 18th century English soft paste dish painted in a Chinese export style. Also included are four later carved Japanese wood Netsukes. Porcelain with scattered chips and lines. Netsukes are very good.

Lot comprised of three plates, four bowls, two water pots and a pair of footed wood stands. Scattered chips, largest bowl with cracks to body. The dish handpainted in a colorful tobacco leaf pattern, accented with gilt, having a scalloped edge. The reverse with three floral sprays done in red and blue. Two hairlines and scattered small chips around the rim. China and others, 18th century. The lot made up of four Chinese Export dishes handpainted with floral design. Together with two tin glazed dishes with violet artwork and a soft paste tea cup.

The bell made in a tall flared form having the top half decorated with seated deities above a band of Taoist masks decorating the lower half.

    The bottom edge with an apocryphal four character Jingtai mark. Handle and crown formerly drilled and since been filled, small scattered chips to the enamel.     Both vases with minor dents and spots of enamel loss in the body. Made in squat form with wide cylindrical neck, the body is decorated with applied enamels throughout the raised decoration. Minor wear to the surface and slight losses to the enamel. The exterior of the box finished in a colorful design of various butterflies and raised on four feet.

    The box with three tiers that open in an accordion style. Executed on paper the image depicting numerous seated officials with figures below, painted in vibrant colors. Overall wear, losses to the paper and scattered in-painting. Mount with a large vertical tear to the top, scattered staining.

Fong was a Chinese photographer trained by Western photographers around Canton. Good, laid down, minor edge tears prior to laying down are evident, no glass. The lot consisting of Japanese blue and white teawares each decorated with children chasing a butterfly.

    Together with a Chinese porcelain statue of a parrot finished in Famille Verte enamels. Five of the six jars decorated in underglaze blue with blossoming prunus each having a dome cover. Together with a monochrome blue glazed covered jar. Parrot with crack through body. Prunus jars all very good, one cover with chip to underside. Monochrome example with break and restoration to body. China, possibly Qing Dynasty. The vase made in squat form quickly tapering to a cylindrical neck. The exterior finished with a rich Flambe glaze having a strawberry color with a large area of blue and violet on the neck.

    The underside revealing a chipped away foot rim and unglazed bottom with burnt orange color. Glaze with craquelure and light scratching, base rim with roughness which is probably in the making. The round body painted with a single scene of three scholars in a landscape with tree branches hanging over head. A large group of writing to the reverse and an iron red mark on the underside. The vase hand painted in a Qianlong style with stylized dragons and lotus scrolls around the body. Quickly tapers at the shoulder to a slightly inverted neck, flanked by lug handles.

    Very good, small pits in the glaze. The pot made in a shallow beehive form and finished with a cafe au lait glaze. The underside with apocryphal Qianlong mark. The image with a central buddha with a Mandorla over her shoulder with others floating in the clouds. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

    Some scattered staining, small hole along top edge. The image with a central reserve depicting numerous figures in various settings, engaged in numerous activities. The ground made up of flowery vines, done in polychrome and gilt. Losses around the edges. An unfinished work of two lovers and a votive image of Shiva Natraj. Ink, colors and gilt on paper. Three women on a palace veranda. Each painting done with polychrome designs depicting a central Bodhistava, both done on cloth. Wear to the surface, paint loss, creases.

    The burner with polished surface and openwork cover, opens to reveal multiple inserts and accessories. Comes with fitted wood stand. Burner very good, wood stand with repairs. The elder figure depicted in a seated position with legs crossed with hands resting upon the knees. The face with serene expression finished in gilt and red pigment applied to the lips. Tarnishing to the finish. Wear to the applied gilt and pigment. Baseplate is a wood replacement. Makala headed triangular blade vajra hilt with Hayagriva finial.

    The deity depicted on ovoid lotus pedestal with feet resting upon small figures on top of the base. Shown with eight wrathful faces and sixteen arms holding various objects finished in red pigment. Generally good with wear to the surface, small chip off figures crown, one applied hardstone missing.

    Tibet, early 20th century. The deity shown in a standing pose wearing beaded necklace and hands in a mudra. Very good, with light wear to the surface. Each statue of similar design depicting Amitayus in seated position with legs crossed and hands in lap. Larger figure with possible repainting to the gilt. The other missing mandorla and item resting in hands. Ink on paper with calligraphy.

    Directly from the artist. The painting depicting a group of irises growing from a rocky landscape with blades of grass below. Signed and dated along with three seals. Very good, some minor creasing. Each scroll with a single line of calligraphy done on a gold flecked paper. One inscribed along with two seals of the artist.

    Both scrolls are loose and unframed.

    Creasing and scattered toning to the paper, small tears along the bottom and top edges. Each with seven character running script with one inscribed along with two seals of the artist. Overall very good, some scattered wear and small holes, toning to the paper. Mounted on newer scrolls. Each painting with eight characters of calligraphy done in black ink on a red ground.

    One inscribed along the margin with two artist seals. Some staining along the edges, minor losses throughout, creasing. Each with seven character running script done on a red ground with gold fleck. One with inscription and two seals. Numerous creases and some cracking to the paper, toning throughout. The painting with an elaborate and colorful arrangement of flowers held within a handled basket. Group of script to the left and signed in upper corner. Some staining and toning to the paper along with scattered creases and minor repairs.

Others very good overall. The lot comprised of cloisonne made in various form and decoration including covered boxes, three covered canisters, a shaker, two cups and a bowl.

    The interior with reserves of various blossoms done in relief surrounding a four character Song Ning Nian Zhi mark in the center. Both the interior and exterior with a lightly applied cream colored glaze stopping just above the foot rim. A few small chips and spots of glaze loss around the rim. Pot in squat form, finished in a cream and brown glaze in a wave pattern. The goddess shown standing on a group of lotus along with a dragon head, clutching a scroll in one hand and a flower in the other.

Waiter also lacquered in gold gilt with unique facial features and with long hair and headdress. Now mounted in later stand. The wood box in rectangular form finished in black lacquer and decorated with a scene of a hunter chasing a deer done in mother of pearl. Lot comprising of various deities in both standing and seated pose. Overall very good, with scattered wear and tarnish to finish.

All finished with a crosshatch pattern and bands of key fret accenting the rims. The bowl decorated with enameled cranes over stylized waves and rockeries framed by pink and yellow key fret borders. Underside with six character Guangxu mark. Cup with apparent cracks in the body which we believe are natural fissures. China and others, 19th and 20th century. The cup carved in shallow form resting on a foot made up of flowering Prunus branches done with openwork.

With multiple scenes depicting lovers and reticulated floral panels. Minor wear along edges, one foot loose.     Each with minor fraying. The large robe with embroidered decoration of teal colored dragons accented in gold thread all done on an orange ground. Minor stains, otherwise good.

    Made in squat form with wide cylindrical neck and slightly flared top rim. Glaze ending cleanly just above the foot surrounding a character done in relief on underside. The first in globular form standing on a tall foot with raised mask handles at the shoulder. The second in flattened form with ring handles accenting the shoulder and a brown dressing applied to the foot. The underside with a Qianlong seal in underglaze blue. Vase made in Hu form and finished with a Ge-type glaze stopping cleanly just above the foot rim and continuing throughout the interior. The scroll containing a watercolor on paper depicting a vast landscape of mountainous terrain with large seals along right margin, single line of script along left edge.

    Some toning and light staining to the image. The watercolor on paper depicting a pair of birds looking upon each other while perched on the branches of a pine tree. Line of script on upper right. A couple small stains along the edge. Depicting a young beauty leaning on a bamboo rail overlooking the stream below holding a small flower in her teeth.

    Signed along left margin. Each side decorated with a pair of figures grasping a round covered jar surrounded by a ground of birds amongst blossoming branches. Large break and repair to one side. China, 18th and 19th century. The lot comprised of six cabinet vases including five finished in various glazes and one blue and white ku vase. Together with two porcelain tea caddies with one including cover. Vases with chips as well as two having reduced necks, covered tea caddie with repair and chips to cover along with line in body.

The lot comprised of six Japanese glazed Celadon wares including one vase and five jars. Together with a Chinese leaf form dish with Famille Rose design.     Upon further examination and consultation, the country of origin should be Iran, not India. Early 20th century, India. The front doors hand painted in vibrant colors open to reveal a mirror housed in a heavily inlaid frame. Losses to inlay, splits in wood, entire piece with a thick coating of varnish which has discolored.

    Finished in a dark glaze with five drip streaks of brown falling to the center. Traces of silvered decoration throughout. Barrel form with iron staves. The sloping sides canted. Mid-section fitted with interior shelf and perforated slide on which the toddler would stand within barrel. Slide with pierced, cutout slots for drainage of waste products.

    Surfaces have been restored and re-polished. Bottom iron stave most likely a replacement. The first depicting the archer Rama with hands raised standing atop a red plinth. The second with one knee and arm raised to the air and holding an element in his hand. Both finished in gilt paint with jeweled accents. Repairs to the arm of archer. Losses to both weapons, separation at joints. Losses to the lacquered finish. The front of the vase painted with a colorful scene of cranes in a flowery landscape and lines of script accenting the reverse.

    Openwork handles flanking the neck below the rolled top rim. Couple of small chips around top rim.
