Easily share your music lists with friends, students, and the world. This is a good book for flute students who are looking to improve on playing independently. The pieces are challenging, but not impossible with normal rehearsal time. My flute students enjoy working up the pieces to play in public. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a challenge Some very nice pieces for first flute, but the second flute parts are weak.

It really helps motivate players if what they are playing sounds like something on its own, and not just in combination with the first flutes. Otherwise a solid collection. These light baroque and classical pieces from a variety of composers nicely fit the flute and violin duo for whom I purchased the book.

Lots of interesting canonic material sounds more difficult than it it really is, and the non-canonic tunes are also well conceived although more "notey" and I'm sure that these can be easily and successfully adapted for other instrumentations as well. I am currently working on Volume 1 and love it. This Volume is too advanced for me, but it won't always be so. I believe it will be a good as Volume 1. Both parts are emancipated ant the movements are not too long. Each duet consists of only one movement. Unfortunately without numbering the bars in any way. The "Easy" as part of the title should not be taken literally. Both parts are emancipated and demanding, the movements are quite long and some of them are really very beautiful. The dances are only numbered, no tempi or names of the movements. Late classic or early romantic music. Very beautiful music, the movements quite long.

Both parts are equally demanding. It is really fun to play this. Very long pieces, nice to play. Second part with a lot of accompanying figures but sometimes with melody, too. Nice melodies, fun to play as mostly with Kuhlau. Dedicated to Tulou 3 Duos op. Not really easy for both players. In this edition there are no bar numbers and no other signs. Thus practising from the to parts without score is really hard.

Best idea is to write numbers by yourself. Dedicated to Gabrielski Trois Duos Concertants op. Not so easy to play but very beautiful music. First edition in 2 Sonatas op. The first edition was printed in London.
