A Bona Fide Gold Digger by Allison Hobbs

May 24, Adreian Burns rated it it was ok. After reading this book I was highly disappointed! The author keeps the reader engaged with the building of suspense throughout the story only to have a very drab ending. A lot of the characters and scenarios where absolutely irrelevant to the story which dragged the story on and on I was so glad when I finally finished.

What is Kobo Super Points?

Aug 12, Kellee rated it did not like it Recommends it for: I learned that Allison Hobbs is a very talented writer Due to that, I didn't like the book at all. I was intrigued in the beginning because I actually thought it was going somewhere. Once I got halfway thru, I realized it wasn't and couldn't wait to be done with it.

10 Most Unbelievable Gold Diggers

May 30, Lisa Gatts rated it it was amazing. I ran across this author quite by accident last week when I discovered One Taste and since then I have went down to the nearest bookstore and bought every single one of her novels and even pre-ordered the next release that is on the way. This book had me absorbed from the very first chapter.

When company knocked at Anyways I won't ruin the story but the book is about a woman named Milan who is fired from her job and after using the companies credit card to run up a massive bill, they seek repayment and she goes on the run to try and save up the money before she gets in a ton of legal trouble. The job entails working for an elderly man who owns a luxurious estate and only has a short time to live.

Milan then she meets the owner of the estate Mr. Mr Brockington has more than a few weird demands that he expects Milan to accomplish while she is there and he pays her very well, but Milan devises a plan that she implements in hopes of becoming heir to the entire fortune.

Buy this you will not be disappointed I promise!!

See a Problem?

Dec 31, OOSA rated it really liked it. In a bind and in desperate need of a place to stay, Milan Walden sees accepting a job as a live-in companion for a wealthy, dying man as the solution. While her job description is "unconventional" to say the least, Milan is willing to do these "tasks" because hopefully they will place her in the position as the lady of the estate after her employer passes.

Allison Hobbs pushes the envelope yet again with this freaky tale of deceit and greed. Fans of Allison Hobbs will snatch this one up and enjoy her latest exploits. Nov 04, Amy rated it liked it. This book was quite a disappointment to me. Most of Allison Hobbs books are page turners and have you very ingrossed but with this book I literally found myself falling asleep while reading it.

I found myself speed reading and skipping parts to hurry up and get to the end. While the idea behind the story was good the delivery was drab and boring and the ending was blah.. Hobbs I just did'nt enjoy this book that much. Apr 18, Rachel rated it it was ok.

A Bona Fide Gold Digger was an o. I thought the main character had more potential to make better decisions.

The story had funny moments but I felt it was lacking something. This is my fist book by Ms. Hobbs I will give her books another try since I had read great reviews about this author. Undeterred, Eris turns her merciless intentions toward the last descendant of the Stovall line, who happens to be an African-American male, making her road to revenge much more complicated. With an all-encompassing plot, spanning from the s to present-day Philadelphia, and Hobbs's signature themes of erotica and the paranormal, The Enchantress is a quick-paced, thrilling novel.
