Jesus died to set you free from sin and to heal you of all diseases. For too long, we have preached a half gospel: the forgiveness of sins and the salvation of your soul, which has only to do with the spiritual. That is true enough, but Jesus also died to heal us of all our diseases and infirmities. His death on the cross was the atonement for our sins and broke the power of Satan over our souls and bodies. The whole Gospel is that Jesus died to bring healing through the Church to the world as well as salvation of souls.

This paper proposes an analogy between evolution in nature on the one hand with historical development on the other, utilizing the theologies of Wolfhart Pannenberg and Bernard Lonergan. It argues that history is directly transcendent to nature and this claim would mean that Big History is less successful in relativizing theological claims than its advocates believe. God is indirectly transcendent to nature via history.

One implication of this perspective is that it is too simplistic to argue for the existence of God on the basis of a straightforward interpretation of nature without reference to history. That is the question being investigated today. This paper will touch on what faith is, what salvation is, and what the Gospel of Mark says about both subjects together This paper will touch on what faith is, what salvation is, and what the Gospel of Mark says about both subjects together. Salvation by Faith alone is a subject within Church culture, specifically differing doctrines, which has caused corrosive divides not just of the physical Church, but the spiritual embodiment of it as well.

To prevent diving into this deep cavern of arguments for and against such a doctrine — we will be focusing on the subject as it relates to the Gospel of Mark, and what he Mark reveals on this particular subject. This paper makes the biblical case for the teaching that one does not need to be baptized in order to go to Heaven. Related Topics. Sri Lankan Literature in English. Follow Following.
