It was a little on the silly side for me ie- soon you'll be suckeling from my breasts the sweet milk but overall was a really cool book. I loved that it still provides an in depth look as to what your baby is doing that week but then gives you some things to think about. My favorite was the week that the baby's nose formed, it suggests smelling your spices in your spice rack to celebrate your babies ability to smell.

With all the worries about not eating this, not drinking too much caffine, this that and the other pregnancy can get stressful and it shouldn't be. The Cd helped me. I am really enjoying the book. Lovely meditations that increase awareness of something so sacred. A nice treat to offset the information overload in standard baby books. I keep this book on my bedside table and enjoy reading it before heading off to sleep.

If you're holistic-minded like me, think you'll enjoy this. I haven't been using the CD too much. Another reviewer mentioned Bellaruth N sp? I don't know how I would have survived pregnancy and labor without this! If you practice every day it helps you control the labor pain because you can slip right into the relaxed meditative state when the pain starts.

One person found this helpful. I'm still in the very early stages of my pregnancy but I love reading what's going on in my body. I love that it's written as if I were talking to my child.

I feel like I'm already forming a relationship with him or her, I tear up each week telling him what I plan to do to help him grow. The book is great but was sent without the guided meditation CD.

I was just disappointed because I thought it was weekly guided meditations on CD. Turns out it is a book of meditations and a CD comes with the book with one guided meditation on it.
