They are romantic suspense with one or both of the main characters finding themselves in danger. I loved Delaney and Josh and rooted for them to make it past Delaney's deception. He wants revenge on Josh for the murder of his wife and 2 children even though it was his own bomb that killed them. I would have given this a higher rating but this book needs some serious editing. I really enjoyed the struggle both Josh and Delaney went through as more unfolded as it made you connect so much more with them. It has got me hooked on the series now! The main-characters do indeed start a little plain and simple but they really do develop during the story. The writing style is easy to keep up and the story itself is an interesting one too.
