I loved that place.

Kato Assos, Greece Holiday Rentals

I would definitely recommend it for those who want to relax and stay away from the crowded places. Zacharias and Froso are very kind people. They gave as tips for the Tinos island. You must visit it! I recommend staying at Zacharias very highly. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable base in which to explore the island this is the place for you.

Santa Marina Guesthouse, Kato Loutraki – Updated Prices

Mirsini is centrally located with good road links to the whole island. For the adventurous type who wants to explore all the villages, hidden beaches, man made and natural geological sites as well as many of Tinos' other intriguing corners, this couldn't be more suitable. After a long day exploring or lying on the beach it was always a comfort going back to rest at our mountain perch spending the last moments of the day watching the clouds swirl through the onlooking valley. We were fortunate to come when the moon was entering its full phase so we enjoyed special moonlit moments.

Excellent location: the studio is situated on the top of a hill above a spectacular beach, so you get a great view ,relatively easy access to the beachfront, without compromising your peace and quiet. The studio is lovely, lots of available space, nice furniture, traditional architecturally , a lot of attention has been given to detail.

Alex and his family are very helpful, thumbs up for the welcoming home made marmelade and the tomatoes from his dads vegetable garden. Accessibility : you definitely need a car. If you choose the short cut to Chora, instead of the detour, you will have to deal with a steep but very short dirt road. A 4 by 4 vehicle is not necessary, you just need to be a little more careful.

Things to do : if eventually you get bored by the amazing beach ,there are many things to do around: Chora is only a 10 minute drive away, while on the oppsite direction to chora you get numerous beaches, fantastic views, interesting museums, all within a half hour drive. Personal favourites: drinks at Exo Meria, at the village of Ysternia and dinner at Thalassaki at the bay of Ysternia. So lucky to found this place! It looks very cute on the pictures, but exceeded our expectations by far.

Alex was an amazing host, the rooms thoughtfully furnished and the sunset breathtaking. Hope to be back one day Alex is an excellent host! The establishment and the house is beautiful ,very clean and offers a mind-blowing view! Alex's place is wonderful, relaxing and cozy, with a distinct minimal vibe to it.

Alex himself is a lovely guy, very polite, swift and accurate in communication and generally very helpflul.

Highly recommended for your Tinos stay. Alex's place is charming, well - decorated, spacious and very clean. It is situated in an ideal location in Tinos a rather big island not far from Chora, which makes it easily accessible if you want to scroll around at night for dinner or drinks - though a car is essential.

The studio has a kitchenette which is not big but is almost fully equipped with the essentials for a delicious breakfast or a light meal. Alex is a great host, really helpful in case you need anything from tips in what to do to bringing you fresh eggs from his family's grocery. He welcomed us with homemade raki and strawberry marmalade :- Agios Romanos beach which is close by, is one of the best in the island! Cool beach bar, normal prices. We really had a great time at Avissalou apartments! Myself and my two kids really enjoyed our stay.

Maria was very helpful with information, even contacting us a week before when a ferry strike was planned, so we could adjust our itinerary. He met us at the port and, at my request, took us to a supermarket for supplies, which along with the local taverna is all that we needed if staying longer a car is advisable. The rooms are compact with a great balcony. The highlight of our stay was passing pleasant evenings on the balcony overlooking the bay as the sun set.

The beach is a mere 3 mins walk away.

Thoroughly recommend it for those looking for peace and solitude. This apartment is in an amazing location! It was so relaxing to be able to walk down within minutes to a beautiful beach with an delicious beach bar. Maria and her father Francesco were so helpful the whole trip. Francesco picked us up at the port and even took us to the supermarket so we could get some basics.

During our stay he brought us fresh grapes and cantaloupe from his lovely garden and even gave us beautiful marble necklaces as a souvenir.

Wish we could come back again! Maria's house is next to the beach. We enjoyed the house terrace and the quiet beach. We will be back next year for sure. What a wonderful place to stay, just as pictures show it Mr Francisco hope it is correct was so nice although we couldn't converse much He shared some of his homemade wine and gave us each a beautiful marble pendant If you like peace and quiet this is it Loved our stay and wished we could have stayed a few more days. Amazing views!! I would definitely stay here again. The beach was a 2 minute walk away, easily seen from the room.

The house was about minutes from town and so peaceful. Would definitely tell anyone this is the spot! If you want to get the feeling of paradise you should choose this place! Maria and her parents are kindness in person and help you with everything you need. Maria's father picked us up and brought us to the port and welcomed us with grapes and a bottle of his delicious wine.

Agios Romanos is a small but nice village with a beautiful beach. If you like to visit other villages on Tinos you should rent a car. We really enjoyed the time and will come back! Very good and quiet place very close to a beautiful beach. The beach is large and not overcrowded, espacially the morning. The appartment and the hosts are very good. We can find 2 small bars on the beach and a restaurant close to it.

If you want to visit the island, you should better rent a car. All communication from beginning to end went very well. Maria communicated with us all through and her father Francesco welcomed us on site. The view is magnificent and it's 2 min to the beach. The house has everything you might need. It's small but with ample outside space.

We had a lovely time and got given lovely necklaces by Francesco. Thank you so much for everything. The house is much more spacious than it looks in photos and has the most beautiful views of the bay of AG Romanos from the living room and bedrooms. It is well equipped with all you need, and beautifully fresh and clean. AG Romanos is a really pretty and peaceful village. You can have the beach virtually to yourself for the mornings, it fills up a little during the afternoon but is never over crowded.

I suspect out of season it will be even more of a haven. There is one place to eat very close to the house, which is very good. There are also two small beach cafes. There are also beautiful quiet peaceful beaches within a 5 minute walk away. Rosalie gave us quite a few tips on the local area and was always so kind and helpful, on arrival she left all the essentials for us as well as home made jam.

She also booked our car hire which saved us a lot of hassle. Tinos is a very relaxed and peaceful island with wonderful people and amazing food, and lovely beaches. Great place to stay if you plan a trip to Tinos. Spacious, well-maintained interior and an amazing balxony with view over the Agios Romanos beach!
