All opinions stated are solely mine. I do not like this book at all!! As a Catholic mother of six young children I thought it would be great to have some ideas for celebrating our beautiful Catholic faith throughout the liturgical year. While this book does give some lovely ideas for doing so with traditional Saints, such as Saint Joseph, Saint Lucy and Saint Patrick, it also contains heretical things to look to for inspiration??? For example, Dietrich Bonhoeffer is described as a saintly Lutheran minister? Why is this in a Catholic book?
Yes, social justice runs rampant through the pages of this book but worse than that are the heretical prayers and ideas that are not Catholic at all!! So disappointed with this book as it is not Catholic. I will not use with my children. Catholic parents beware when you are purchasing books. There are many wolves in sheeps clothing out there!!!
