As a cancer survivor who did not lose her hair the book provided a much needed break from all of the bad news and poor body image that comes with this nasty disease. Even if you don't lose your hair with treatment, you can look pretty awful to yourself. It was great fun to draw a glamorous image around my face in the mirror. The pens work well on mirrors that I used. I intend to give this book to any woman I know who is dealing with cancer treatment. I hope that Ms. Savage publishes similar books for children and men. This book is truly inspirational! A real page turner, very creatively constructed, and emotionally refreshing.

I love the illustrations! I've had close friends and family members who have gone through chemo, and I wish we could have had this book at the time. Savage knows what cancer patients go through - she is able to really connect with the reader. And her humor is enjoyable. You will laugh and cry at the same time while reading!
