If you are an experienced prepper wanting an in depth guide, this is not the manual you are looking for. However, if you are new prepper living in the city, or just want a basic book that hits all the important points to throw in your BOB, then Urban Survival is a good choice. It has information on first aid, weapons, how to get out of a subway, riots, what to do if kidnapped, and more. As a nurse and former EMT I like the full color first aid illustrations.

It's not the best survival guide, but it has good basic info to help you stay alive. Not bad for the price. Too little coverage on some topics.

Out of date info on CPR. Covers losing a tail while driving, but not on foot. Covers first aid for shock but fails to mention calling for medical help. First aid here isn't "treatment". Does cover dealing with pirates, including repelling boarders of your boat. When is that going to ever happen?

A must have when it all goes down. Don't worry this book has you covered. A must have for the home book shelf. Great book as always from Outdoorlife lots of great information thanks;. Could have been more indepth on some subjects.
