I am an absolute beginner. Bonnie's instructions are clear and easy to follow. Most of the sons included are old folk or gospel tunes. Melody lines are included, along with chords and strumming instructions. I have looked at several books and this one is the most packed for the least amount of money. Yeah, yeah, black and white 70s photos but who cares?

If you want to learn autoharp and only want one book, this is the one. That's just me though. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Now if I can only get the hang of this darn thing. Very complete and instructional book.

One person found this helpful. Very responsive would recommend in a minute. Bought an OSpurchased the book-just in case Some History, clear, concise instructions on starting to play, etc. This book is well-done and an excellent resource-even as a previously trained musician-there's always more to learn!
