They're such a solid piece of work with freaking adorable characters whom you can't help but fall in love with. The story's also decent and I like the mangaka's way of tackling the same trust issue that has been dealt with countless times before, although most of those are just failed attempts anyway.

I also like the rest of the stories, some more than others, but I blame the angel story's scanlations for confusing me headless and making me not being able to fully enjoy it.

Same Cell Organism Review

I liked them all except "To make Angel". It seemed out of place. Other than that it was a great read. All of which is beautifully portrayed - i really really like the art as well; it is soft and paints the simiilar sunshine warm feelings all the stories carry. June Manga - Yokan - Premonition Vol.1 by Makoto Tateno

It's one of the first I read and I still think the story is really good. I would probably add "slice of life" to the genre description to give an easier way to look at it, but there are some fiction angel and ghosts stories that would not fit quite well on that category.

Most notable, no dramatic over the edge climax es. This was a really wonderful volume of stories. Same Cell Organism is more than just boy's love. It sort of seemed out of place and broke the mood a little. Otherwise I'd have given it a ten out of ten. The first 3 chapters were very cute, and sweet. The 4th made me cry The 5th-6th were sad, but heartwarming as well The last story was really nice, and cute.

Needless to say, the art is amazing, very soft.

I just love that mangaka This manga had a very gentle, sweet feel to it. I really loved the first story, and I thought that Nakagawa and Yokota made a super cute couple.

Most importantly, is it good? The most consistently high quality aspect of this volume is its art. Yumeka utilizes thin line-work throughout that gives the characters a lovely sense of fragility to match their delicate emotions. Many of the page compositions are sparse, and the heavy use of white space works alongside the thin lines to create a relaxed, airy tone. Most of the shading is done with light to moderate tones of gray, so the few occasions where deep black inks are used really pop.

Overall, Yumeka does a great job contrasting tones to heighten and lessen the intensity of specific moments.

Most of the scenes included depict commonplace events and conversations, and this focus on trivial matters helps make the characters easy to relate to and empathize with. Sparse layouts with plentiful white space and thin line-work give the volume a delicate feel.

Yumeka also does a great job rendering beautifully soft wings and skies. Unfortunately, this story is too rushed to reach its full potential.

Unfortunately, the rest of the volume is marked by the same problems. On the plus side, the artwork is lovely throughout, with some of the strongest inks and flow of motion in the entire book. While some of the endings are unsatisfying, the art is consistently a pleasure to look at. News News See all.
