This book is old, but well worth the read. Avoid, if you can, all the new writings until you have read the old masters, such as Brunton, and then you'll have a deeper understanding of the subject-matter! I have just started to read this excellent book by Paul Brunton.

It is an excellent value for all those who are seeking eternal peace and lasting happiness in this troubled world. Paul Brunton attempts to bring the eastern methods of attaining oneness with God to the western world using techniques that are appropriate in this day and age. The eastern methods of renouncing materialism and other worldly temptations are no longer practical in this day and age. Spine and top edges faded, corners bumped.
