Did I Kill My Mother? A Night to Regret A Friend's Obsession Prescription for Danger TV Movie Stalked by My Doctor: Murdered at 17 TV Movie Room for Murder Edit Cast Credited cast: Posy Pinkerton Richard de Klerk Jack Wickley Amber Goldfarb Laura Pinkerton Inga Cadranel I thought one thing, then that was turned around, then my new thought was turned around. I was uncomfortabl 3. I was uncomfortable and tense, and absolutely cannot wait for the next book!

I have been caught in the web! Apr 12, Joy rated it really liked it. Excellent story--lots of twists and turns--the title is taken from two movies--Dangerous Liaisons and The Last Seduction-- Highly recommend. How can I hate both MCs but still find the story enjoyable? Ryan was one of the most unlikeable MCs, there is no excusing his absolutely shitty behavior towards his fiance. Least he did suffer a bit and knew what an absolute shithead he was. But gosh, I can't deny that he and Joseph were hot together. I hated him for what he was doing, but at the same time I was impatiently waiting for him to just give in to the undeniable chemistry with his boss.

Maybe a part of me was finally rebelling from all the goody YA I was reading, I don't know. Joseph was manipulative and enigmatic all the way. Unapologetic about the way he casually uses people for his own agenda. I still found his character seductive and intriguing. I kept waiting for things to implode because he and Ryan clearly seemed like such a hot but attractive mess together.

I agree that I would not call this your typical MM romance. Which is good because that's been boring me. Besides the relationship, the lawsuit plot was also very interesting and kept my attention. I should warn that the ending ended on an open note, where there could be a sequel to thoroughly wrap things up, but at the same time, I thought the loose ending fit and I don't really want to see everything nice and tidy. In the end, it was a fast-paced story that I was really entertained by.

So, 4 stars, sorry this "review" was rambly and made little sense, but I feel nauseous and all I care about is getting back to sleep right now. Maybe I'll rewrite it later. Really super excited to find this new author and I would recommend trying this if you are also itching to find something a little fresh from the usual. View all 5 comments. Yeah I liked it, but it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea and I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about the ending and If there's no sequel I'll hav to change my rating.

The writing was good, loved the guys even tho they were douches. Srsly it's in the blurb so don't be surprised by the cheating. It's legit and they keep at it for a while. They're hard guys to like at times but I wanted to see em get it together cuz I kno their pasts had I They're hard guys to like at times but I wanted to see em get it together cuz I kno their pasts had a lot to do with how they started out So much left at loose ends that if there's no sequel I will hav a harsher opinion.

For those looking for something different, this is def that book. Sep 16, Adrianamae, Marco's fan rated it liked it Shelves: Present tense truly sucks. The MCs well the cheater, I could not like him to save my life. This book is a solid 2 Stars for me, it was okay via plot. Feb 22, Tina rated it really liked it.

Bond is a new author for me. Right out of the gate, I have to say that Ms. Bond managed to create a character who is exceptionally difficult to like. And I wanted to like him! Joseph is very much a mercurial personality. He holds a carrot in one hand and a stick in the other. He is hard to read. Not in the words sense, but his moral fiber and motivations are hard to pin down. Just when you think you know Joseph Van Aardt and what his impetus is, Ms. Bond turns your belief on its head and yo A. Bond turns your belief on its head and you have to try to figure him out all over again.

When newly minted lawyer Ryan Paullson is short-listed for a job at a top New York law firm, it seems like a dream come true. He will get to work at the firm where one of the rock stars of the legal field works. Ryan finds himself strongly sexually attracted to Joseph, whose changeable personality makes it difficult to read his feeling at any given time.

Joseph does make clear that he is equally attracted to Ryan and they begin a hot and heavy office romance that must be kept secret at all costs. My first thought was that here is a lawsuit in the making. A named partner having sex with a junior associate?

Dangerous Seduction

Not a great idea. The case that Ryan and Joseph are working is a lawsuit brought against controversial billionaire, Jack McNeil. He has already been found not-guilty in a criminal trial, so Ryan and Joseph have an uphill battle on their hands. As their work together brings them closer, Ryan begins to wonder just how far Joseph will go to win. It seems Joseph is able to pin anything and everything on McNeil. Ryan allows his feelings for Joseph to cloud his judgment and render his intelligence useless.

Ryan wants to be with Joseph so badly that he believes whatever Joseph says. The case becomes personal for Ryan in ways that could never have been predicted. Although it seems that perhaps Joseph was able to predict them. And perhaps Ryan was hired not because of his qualifications as an attorney, but because of his hidden ties to the case. Ties of which he was completely unaware. How much Joseph knew when he hired Ryan and his motivation for doing so are questions Ryan inevitably begins to ask himself and eventually Joseph. Ryan wants to win the case.

He wants to be with Joseph. It becomes a deep internal dilemma for Ryan. Nothing is as it appeared months ago when he was hired for what he thought was his dream job. Not just as a lawyer, but as a man. The Dangerous Seduction is a fast-paced, thrilling read. There are a lot of loose ends left when the book is finished. I can not wait for a sequel to tie them up. I certainly hope there is a sequel in the works or I will be forced to stalk this great new author until I find out what happened after the last page.

And I highly recommend this book. View all 4 comments. Jul 12, Susan65 rated it really liked it Shelves: Joseph is magnetic, powerful, rich, and beautiful; Ryan is his polar opposite on the power and wealth scale, plus he is straight…and engaged…to a woman.

These two men are drawn to each other, but together they are just wrong, they are so very wrong in every way; but neither can stay away for very long an The Blogger Girls WOW!!! These two men are drawn to each other, but together they are just wrong, they are so very wrong in every way; but neither can stay away for very long and the intensity of their forbidden relationship is potent. This drama will not be for everyone. You are fed just enough to keep you on your toes…and to mislead you. All I can say, without giving anything away, is that the ending blew my mind. I had no idea where to compartmentalize that epilogue and it changed everything I had read previously.

There is no way there cannot be a sequel. I need to see how this plays out for both Ryan and Joseph. Wow, what a ride. Apr 06, Niki rated it liked it. Sometimes there is just too much sweetness in the mm romance genre and I am glad to have read this for a change. In the perfect romantic world of mm romance Ryan and Joseph are improper characters, yet I find myself completely engrossed with their improper behaviour, no small reason due to the absorbing writing. There is just something darkly fascinating with the way Joseph seduced and ensnarled Ryan.

Theirs is more like obsession than love even when the writer decided to inject the love word to Sometimes there is just too much sweetness in the mm romance genre and I am glad to have read this for a change. Theirs is more like obsession than love even when the writer decided to inject the love word towards the end, which I find rather unfitting and disappointing that the writer feels the necessity to revert to the usual formula. Another little niggle is the revelation of Joseph's past which I thought is unnecessary drama and again the typical formula.

But the writing, the flow of the plot just kept me reading from start to finish because there is no dull moment in the plot. This is definitely not the last of these characters but I found myself satisfied with how it ended with no wish to pick up the sequel, if any. I do recommended this to those of us fed up with the usual corny sweetness and want a break in our favourite genre.

And yes I will definitely be watching out for more stories from this write Oct 03, Cindi marked it as to-read Recommended to Cindi by: Bond is at On Top Down Under today with a great interview and giveaway of The Dangerous Seduction to help us celebrate our 2 year anniversary. I just spent the past 5 hours devouring this book when I should have been sleeping. Ryan was just a sweetheart looking for that spark even when all he thought he wanted was Joseph as his boss.

The Dangerous Seduction by A.N. Bond

Bond spun a tail of intrigue and flossed it over with the romance of a lifetime. I enjoyed Mary's take on "getting even" and truly felt kinda bad for Daisy.

Mar 05, Water Fairy rated it did not like it Shelves: Ugh - hated this. Neither character seemed genuine and I found the present tense jarring. Also I really really hate cheaters, especially closet-cases. DNF this one and don't plan to. Mar 04, Feliz rated it it was amazing. Mar 02, Mel added it Shelves: Damn, if it weren't for that ending, this book would be awesome.

Oh, it's still great, don't get me wrong, but I just wished for more. Right from the first page, I couldn't put this down. The writing style is engaging, the characters likeable and very much intriguing, and I really dig the setting of a law firm. You've more or less everything you could wish for: This was really an all-around entertaining read. The only thing I find lacking is that the book ends view spoiler [before they are actually going to court. All this build-up and then?

This didn't really get resolved Well, the relationship element that was connected to it did and that's great, but I really would have wanted to read the rest, too. You know, he wasn't a bad guy, and he didn't want to hurt her, but he wanted to be happy, too. I liked that he did what was good for him and didn't let his parents or someone else dictate his life. I sympathised with him because he actually felt remorse and the situation messed with him, too. He didn't just shrug it off.

So, if you mainly go into this for the thrill and romance and don't mind that the plot only gets half resolved, you should read this. I recommend it and had a hell of a good time with the book. It was fast-paced and hot from the beginning although I strongly disliked Joseph for a good chunk most of the book , and then I had to leave the last hour of it until I had time to read it straight through, 'cause it was addicting and exciting, and I had no idea how it was going to end--HEA or not. The whole book had an uncertain feel to it--which I absolutely loved amidst all of the surefire happy endings that most books shovel up.

I mean, I want a happy ending, but I don't Holy shit. Is that so much to ask? Or rather I adored the fact that there were no hints, so I didn't see it coming at all. And then, that epilogue had me so nervous, thinking voraciously that he better fucking not if he doesn't want me to jump inside the book and viciously kick his butt. Yup, it had me right up until the very end, loving and unstable every second. Yes, there is cheating obviously , and those who populate this book aren't necessarily the best people in the world, but they make for interesting characters whom I did care for and want to make it together in the end.

Highly recommended; loved it; unique plot; awesome experience. You then wake up in an infirmary where you're being treated by the guy who threw the scalpels at the superintendent. He introduces himself as Haruma Fujioka and Aphrodite, a fluffy black cat that greets you. You find him normal, but quickly change your mind when he starts hitting on you. You then see an article of him about an illegal surgery. Arimura then comes in and drags you into another room where you meet all the guys.

You quickly realize that Kentaro Inui is the leader and shows you a message left by your dead father. He tells you that your eyes unlock a secret room and his eyes were the key but the enemy found out and had to use yours. He regrets putting you in danger, but he couldn't let the information fall into the hands of the enemy, so he had someone he trusted hire these fugitives here to protect you.
