What is the purpose of such visits? Do I really need an angel to do all these things for me? Show respect for his presence. Listen to his voice because he gives us advice. Do not go against him. In this spiritual counsel, we can see a further explanation of the role of the angels, especially our guardian angel. The angels are here in obedience to God. They love and serve him alone. Since we are the children of God, members of his family, the angels are sent to us on a specific mission, namely, to protect us and to get us to heaven. The angels are among us. They are here to remind us of God, to call us out of ourselves, and to push us to accomplish the vocation and tasks that God has given to us. With this in mind, if we were to summarize the guardian angel prayer in contemporary jargon, we would say that our guardian angel was sent to us to be our coach, secret service agent, personal trainer and life coach.

1. You Dream About An Angel Visitation
I know for myself that I often forget how comforting it is to pray with another person. I feel most comfortable praying by myself. Yet, we never have to be shy around our guardian angel. Always looking for practical ways to develop our spirituality in the craziness of ordinary life, here is a short exercise you can do to engage your angel during your prayer time.
Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, ask Jesus to bless your prayer, and then imagine your guardian angel by your side. I always take that as a sign that my buddy Dumplings is nearby. Lead me closer to God. Protect me and give me direction throughout the day. Then talk to your angel about your day — your worries, your dreams, your hopes. Ask for guidance. Ask for support.
