He lands on an undiscovered planet, together with robot Buck, who both has to protect him and sends out an alarm signal so that they can be found.
The two of them need to survive on this planet full of fantasy animals and plants, and they soon meet a new friend. This animated adventure film is full of colourful images of an exotic planet, where nothing is what it seems. Although Willy initially depends heavily on Buck, he gradually finds the courage to do what he needs to do to return home. Big Wolf lives alone and enjoys his life under his tree.

It is hard to tell, but a simple game of chess has never been this exciting. Fun, chaotic and inventive, Chess is a short claymation film that keeps coming up with new ways to have fun with the concept of a chess match. Gnome is about to spend a day sunbathing when a bothersome cloud blocks the sun. Fortunately, Mr. Gnome is industrious and knows the perfect solution for such an issue. He grumbles and whines, but begins to nail down everything in his entire home: chairs, underwear and even the chickens and the dog.
Then he begins a perilous journey up the mountain and a steep cliff face. Finally, he makes it to the top and resolves his cloudy-day issue in a somewhat unusual way. Larger than life, dressed in a suit and tie, dad appears at the window one evening carrying a gift for his son. Daddy is strong and brave, because he frees animals from captivity, wins races with his super-fast car, dives down into the depths of the ocean. Dad is also a sorcerer who can make himself appear and disappear magically. If only he would be around a bit more It is a film that shows us that with a little bit of effort, even if you moan your way through it, your day can come right.
The film does this through a wonderful water-coloured animation style that looks like a picture book has come to life. At present, they are working together on their next project, a feature film called Ella Bella Bingo, slated for Eho A young boy waits at the window for his father to arrive for their weekly trip. One morning, she finds a small shadow creature under her sofa. Confused and scared, she places it in a box and puts it away. Later on, she starts talking to the creature and it turns out to be none other than the night itself.
Elsa tells Night the story of her life at sea, her beloved elephant Olaf, their extraordinary friendship and his death. Meanwhile, Night listens to her and strokes her hair, comforting her. The fox is present when a baby bird hatches and develops a loving, fatherly relationship with it. He takes on his role wholeheartedly and an endearing bond forms between them. However, as the bird nears adulthood, it becomes apparent that this unconventional family cannot stay together forever. Elsa and the Night takes the viewer on a beautiful journey of an unusual friendship.
Directed by brothers Sam and Fred Guilaume, The Fox and the Bird shows us that family can come in all shapes and sizes, and bonds can form even between the most unusual of pairs.

This sweet family tale is backed up by some beautiful 3D animation that blends stylized characters with realistic backgrounds in a very unique way. Dobroe serdtse A cave woman just wants to ensure her family is healthy, happy and well fed, but her son and husband have different ideas about what constitutes family. While she may seem irritated by each new stray animal they bring home, she opens her house and heart to them — even when it seems there may no longer be a house to open. In this short but heart-warming animation, director Evgeniya Jirkova shows us that the definition of family is flexible and ever changing.
The 2D animation is done in the style of an old cave drawing, making fun use of the setting and giving the short a very unique look. In just seven minutes, he manages to encapsulate the universal frustration of a too hot day on the beach, and his quirky animation style and sense of humour are a pleasure to watch. Crowds gather on a Greek beach to enjoy the sunshine and hot weather. However, the hotter it gets, the more frustrated they get. The beachgoers become increasingly antsy and irritated, but all they really need is to cool down.
Luckily, a girl manages to break away from her mother, and with the help of her new friend, creates a wave that can combat even the hottest of days. Hedgehog is about a little boy who loves hedgehogs. He speaks about hedgehogs all the time, giving a presentation about hedgehogs in class, but also talking about them during the lunch break, after school and basically every other moment he can find. As he talks about hedgehogs a bit too much, he alienates himself from his peers and teachers at school.
But the boy has to keep hedgehogs on his mind because they offer him the sanctuary, security and companionship his parents are failing to provide at this moment. This 2D animated short deals with a very complicated subject manner in a subtle way. A milk cow realises there is more to the world than her fenced-in enclosure. A clumsy accident creates the opportunity for escape, but as she adjusts to the freedom and beauty of the outside world, she has to learn who is trustworthy and who is not. As she experiences new tastes and sees new things, she befriends a squirrel who ensures her safety and becomes somewhat of a guardian angel.
Thankfully, her squirrel friend has her back and rescues her from her inevitable date with destiny.

A beautiful and suspenseful 3D animated short inspired by classic fairy tales. Summer is coming to an end and fruit is growing ripe on the trees. Grandpa gives his grandson a kite.

They spend wonderful afternoons together but as autumn arrives, Grandpa becomes increasingly weak and by the time winter comes, he has passed away. There is no better way to celebrate the end of autumn than with a forest-wide bicycle race. Various animals on an assortment of odd, especially built bicycles, wagons and scooters embark on a race through the forest, each trying to outpace the approaching winter chill.
But this race is not as competitive as you might expect, as all the animals help each other so that they all arrive safely at their various hibernation havens. What a festive way to bid farewell to autumn. The Kite is a richly textured, enchanting story in soft colours, about loss and keeping the memory of those we miss alive. Perreten is currently working as an animation film director for the Swiss company Nadasdy Film, while making independent short films in her free time. It can be difficult in the animal kingdom to find a suitable life companion.
This applies especially for a bird of paradise, who has to strut his stuff to attract a mate. While the male bird comes across as slightly naive, his dedication to the cause is admirable. Director Sonja Rohleder creates a tropical utopia, where even a clumsy and geeky male bird can find his rhythm and eventual mate. Rohleder previously made several other short animations, such as Kolumbus Dame mit Hund and Junges Blut , among others. That is exactly the case for a chameleon and a kiwi bird in this short film. The world will soon be under water and anyone who is not on the ark will perish. There are only cabins available for selected animals who are there with a partner, and the rules on board are very strict.
