It is time for the truth to be told. He talks himself into going in, hears a familiar laugh and spots Bristol. When she sees him, she faints and all He?? You have to read this sexy, intimate account of the reunion that registers as a five alarm fire for these two. Lots of romance and heat between these pages and I loved it.

Once Coop learns he has a son, he is determined to be a part of his life and hopefully rekindle the magic he felt with Bristol. He realizes his line of work is dangerous but he also wants to experience what a few of his teammates have…a loving family. Throw in a child and it always makes for an enjoyable read.

She moved on with her life, became a mother and worked at her painting. Now three years later during a showing she is shocked when Coop strolls in. Their desire is still just as strong and undeniable, but Bristol must guard her heart and that of her son's. Coop wants his unexpected family.
Brenda Jackson is an incredible writer.

The chemistry between Bristol and Coop almost ignited the pages. You knew they belonged together but Bristol is not sure about getting involved with someone who may not return. She went through that before and was not sure she could again. With lots of romance combined with hot desire, Brenda Jackson shows how love can indeed conquer all. Pick up His Secret Son. The man and his buddies had come into the shop where she worked, they were SEALs and after a weekend with Laramie, she never saw or heard from any of them again. She is a hardworking, single mother. She had issues in her own past that made her want to save her son from dealing with a similar problem.
It was the surprise of a lifetime when Laramie showed up at her art exhibition. She had thought hi This was a good, quick read. She had thought him dead since trying to reach out and tell him about the pregnancy. Getting to know their son was such a sweet experience. I knew what was going to happen in the story and it didn't disappoint. I do like how close all the SEAL team is and their families. Dec 07, Konny rated it it was amazing. I recommend to read book one, The Ranger Returns, first. Laramie Cooper, brother in Arms of Bane and the others is back from death. Years ago he met Bristol Lockett, a artist, in Paris. They spent some time and now he meets her again. Bristol has a gallery showing in New York and there she runs into her former lover, she believed dead. And she has a surprise for him. A walking talking surprise.
His Secret Son is a sweet romance with the right amount of drama and danger. I like the writing and the characters. I give 4,5 stars. Thank you, Brenda Jackson! We are taken on the journey of Bristol and Coop where a chance encounter and weekend romance lead to the unexpected.
Separated due to Coop's deployment and subsequent capturing unbeknownst to Bristol , we are taken on the journey of rediscovery and unfamiliar territory. Both for Bristol and Coop. As they reenter each other's lives only to discover that as a result of their once passiona Coop's return shakes things up No one says when or where we'll find love or when passion will enter our lives. As they reenter each other's lives only to discover that as a result of their once passionate affair a child was conceived.
We are then on the path of what next, and does one restart what seemed like would never could or should have been. You'll root for Coop and Bristol as a family. You'll see the impact of their child unconditional love and openness. Coop was presumed dead. Bristol tried to contact him to tell him she was pregnant with his child after their 3 day love affair But when the letter returns unsendable, a friend finds out that he is "dead". Fast forward almost 3 years and he walks into an art gallery because he sees the name Bristol and he wonders if it is the one and the same Finding out that it is, having Bristol faint , than come to and tell him he had a son..
She is still in lov Coop was presumed dead. She is still in love with him but is afraid to let herself be because she is afraid he will get killed for real. Coop follows his heart in Paris not knowing it was leading him to his future. Bristol follows her heart also and ends up with the love of her life. This was a great, well written book that I recommend to all. It can be read as a stand-alone and still be enjoyed, but I also recommend reading the entire Westmoreland world of books. Unbeknownst to Laramie he left Bristol a little piece of himself. For three years they did not know where the other was. Laramie had been captured and was a prisoner for a year and the US Navy assumed he was dead. Then he returned after Bristol thought he was dead and she fainted upon seeing him. To find out where this story goes you will have to read the book. I enjoyed every minute of it and was sorry for it to end. Feb 11, Nicole rated it really liked it.
This was no different especially since it was dealing with the friends of the infamous Bane Westmoreland.

So, you get a different storyline but you also get a reconnection to a portion of the family you fell in love with from the beginning. This one will go down as favorite of mine. When Bristol received the news of Coop's "death", she could have fallen apart and simply given up. But Bristol realized that soon there would be someone else depending on her, so she had to stand strong.
