About This Item
It is a must read for anyone interested in Latin America. The author is very well informed and the thrust of his argument is utterly convincing.
Moreover, the writing is crisp which makes it enjoyable as well as informative. I was completely convinced by the arguments made in this book about the consequences of FDR's foreign policy towards Latin America, essentially that doing nothing was a policy in itself and ultimately an irresponsible one.
