You just need to learn how to let Him speak. Through various practices meant to quiet the jiva's mind, the voice and vision of this inner Guru grows stronger and begins to dominate the jiva's attention. This is Self-Attention of the aspirant on the path. The path the initiate has been on is of integral importance to the type of attention the initiate will end up giving to the Sadguru. To become an initiate, every jiva must accept some of the common teachings about the jiva: This attachment is called "ego" which is illusion or "Maya".

This Maya is the jiva's mind that thinks the body and the world it inhabits is real. The Sadguru will teach you that your True Nature is Love beyond all transient phenomena. All the suffering that you have ever experienced will be seen for what it truly offers, nothing.

His Holiness will convince you of This. A promise of contentment, peace and blessings without compare will be repeated over and over, sometimes subtlety and sometimes not so subtlety. A promise to go beyond all of your present conceptualizations will be stated clearly and succinctly. For You are greater than any concept, including that of "God". The very concept of "ego" as who you are and "God" as Being separate from you will be so dissolved you'll wonder what those teachings ever offered You!

Finally, This work has many helps to understanding including the Master Key already mentioned as well as many key words in English with their transliterated Sanskrit word in parentheses. This enhances the English speaking aspirant's wonder and excitement all the more, enriching the experience greatly. I AM eternally grateful to the Sadguru.

May all Realize the Self. If you are ready to tie all those spiritual "loose ends" together with respect to years and years of searching for Spiritual Truth WITH understanding your search may very well end here. This book is absolutely amazing Every single page is like an extremely rare jewel. I have always used a highlighter when reading books of knowledge Highlighters are really not an option with THIS content unless you prefer the entire informative work to be highlighted.

The other reviewers have really said all that is possible using "words". Let me just add that if there were an option here for 10 Stars, that would be my choice. This is a truly incredible body of work - describing "that" which, normally, cannot be described. If you are ready, don't hesitate. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase.

Master of Self-Realization: An Ultimate Understanding

Overview The key to understanding the manner in which these teachings are presented is to first read the work entitled "Dassbodha" by Bhagwan Shree Samarth Ramdas Swami Shree Samarth. In this work a clear exposition is given as to the transcendental meaning of the term "SadGuru". It is only when the nuances of this term are understood per the extensive discourses Shree Samarth provides that the context of the usage in the "Master of Self -Realisation" can be understood in all respects star-choice I gave 5 stars because this is a genuinely helpful book suited to those that have already attained as well as those seeking guidance thereto.

For the advanced and the enlightened there are many conundrums to stretches one's understanding and beginners will benefit by the largely simple presentation of "first principals". Particularly should this book be required reading for all the Internet Neo-Advaitins no matter what pedigrees are claimed thereby. However, the last chapter gets into logical problems in respect of the Paramatman-Brahman nirguna "space" and, disconcertingly the context of Paramatman seems to vary from place to place in the text throughout.

The succinct renditions of some acts of Sacred figures found in traditional texts on Advaita into the nexus of enlightenment is very helpful even for an experienced reader of such material although not all possible iterations were exhaustively expanded. Dislike Although not a "true" criticism the work could do with a good editing by an "enlightened" editor the reason being that there is quite a bit of word by word repetition throughout the text so much so that one often wonders momentarily if one has "lost" one's place so to speak but rereading the interval still leads to the original comprehension.

Against that suggestion is the fact that repetition aids learning and it is after all how the Sad Guru chose to present his teachings The appeal to the SadGuru as the sole legitimate conduit to Parbrahma Paramatman - as the Divine representative operating within earthly appearance - is heavily emphasised.

But of course one must understand that in context this is also a mechanism to ensure lineage preservation. In this respect solitary attainment is apparently given short-shift and it is questioned in respect of the "obviously" superior state occupied by the SadGuru. However, that said, recourse to the detailed teachings of the SadGuru Shree Samarth, above mentioned make the true nature of this reference abundantly clear.

It is not clear that all of the chapters arise from the same source since the nuances of some are heavily varied into different directions and it is not always clear as to what sense is being consistently indicated by technical terms such as Paramatman, Brahman NirGuna, Brahman SaGuna, Shiva etc. Translation might have a bearing on this. Like Specificallyy, the work excels in obtaining the outlook enjoyed by Paramatman, as Parbrahma, Brahman nirguana - God-without-attributes, Brahman saguna and so forth and this is as it should be.

There are some breath-taking images presented that admirably make this point. So fine, one arrives at that all-encompassing "state" which is no-state but includes every state. The stasis of indescribable divinity, resting beyond time, not anymore subject etc. In a way something of this point is covered in Chapters "I dissolve the Earth millions of times and then create it again millions of times". The answer lies directly within the SadGuru, as Parbrahma the creator of "God". A wonderful book and teaching.
