I was eager to discover how Amanda and Tuttle's relationship would play out. I was also looking forward to discovering more about Tuttle. He had been so secretive and closed off about his life and he was obviously struggling so I was hoping that this book would give me the answers to all of Jordan Tuttle's problems.

I was immediately gripped by what was happening with Amanda, Tuttle and their friends and I felt as though I was watching some high school drama on TV. I was mostly interested in what was happening between Amanda and Tuttle and I never stopped rooting for them during the course of the story.

Whilst watching the couple's story play out, I found myself feeling sorry for Tuttle and I was willing Amanda to give him a chance. Amanda wasn't going to make it easy for Tuttle and I knew that it was a good thing that she was no pushover, however I'm so much of a softie, especially when it came to Jordan Tuttle. I have always believed that Tuttle's heart was in the right place and it was clear to see that he had it bad for Amanda. More than anything, I just wanted the pair back together again. The love lives of these characters piqued my interest, so I would love to read more about them as well as more from Amanda and Tuttle.

I want to know how their relationship progresses through their college years and they become adults. Amanda and Tuttle made such a gorgeous couple that it would be a shame to leave their story with this book. Hold on to him and never let go. It was full of sweetness and swoons and had an ending that made me sigh.

I was more than happy with how Monica Murphy delivered this story. Apr 04, Moriah rated it it was amazing. I could probably stop this review right there and have given you enough reasons to read this book. The chemistry, the angst, and the sweet moments splattered in between made this a must-read the second I discovered it existed. I was kind of disappointed that there will not be a more detailed account of what happens between Livvy and Dustin, because I was always part of that team.

Did I mention I love Tuttle? She had a wonderful voice that matched her personality and the Amanda that everyone else saw. Her life changed drastically when Jordan Tuttle entered into her life, and she grew into an amazing, strong character that you will love to read about. Since the book is told in dual perspective, I really understood Jordan. I love him in all his brokenness and wanted him to accept that the guy Amanda saw existed.

One of the most important things about Jordan Tuttle: This is a must-read second chance story. There are still many characters that I have tons of questions about, though I know this is the end of the Friends series. Murphy creates an unforgettable and unputdownable story. Amanda and Jordan will tug at your heartstrings. Apr 07, RentasticReads rated it really liked it. Ever since Amanda Winters and Jordan Tuttle's relationship has been introduced to us on the very first installment of this series, I instantly fell deeply in love with them.

Their story is just heart melting in all the ways. They just have this raw passion and unique connection any of us could relate with. Out of all the relationships Monica Murphy presented in the Friends series, this particular one was the one that truly drew me in and had me hooked. And just as perfectly as Amanda said it— TuttleIsBae.

Forever picked up right where the second book, More Than Friends , left off. Amanda and Jordan are still broken up. Amanda is heartbroken and lost, but is trying her best to move on, especially with how much of a butt Tuttle turned out to be towards her, constantly pushing her away.

Upcoming Events

Jordan, on the other hand, was more tortured in the position he found himself in. He thought he was doing the right thing all along, breaking things off with Amanda and gunning for the future his parents have always imposed on him, but instead, it was just plain ridiculous stupidity rearing its ugly head. I hated how troubled Tuttle is. And that was depicted more in this book.

All of his weaknesses and vulnerabilities were laid out in the open and he despised it. He's got the broody, mysterious jock down pat all right, but seriously, something's got to give. I even grew a tad frustrated midway reading this because I just wanted them to clear the air, move forward, work things out and get back together. I did and still love Tuttle's sweet, thoughtful and honest side though. Once they got over that insanely godforsaken rough patch, he melted all my insides all over again. Tuttle is the kind of guy who'll absolutely make you swoon and he's not even trying.

He just has this certain charm that comes out naturally and I love it.

Plus, the way he tried with Amanda here after he got his crap together—the ways he worked on getting her back—slayed me. Monica Murphy has indeed demonstrated the growth and maturity of both Amanda and Jordan's characters so well in this second part of their tale.

She showed how far they've come after everything they went through and how they dealt with the loss of each other along the way. Although I did want and expect so much more from them here too, like I was looking for something that was missing. Tuttle and Amanda's story is still the best out of the rest in this series for me though and I don't think that would ever change.

That little bomb that Monica Murphy dropped near the end of this book kind of blew my wits and ovaries and made me squeal deep inside. If you're on this team with me, you'll love that little fragment of detail, I swear. It certainly made me melt for Tuttle even more. Apr 03, Courtney rated it really liked it Shelves: I love that I when I am reading a book and by the end of it I am smiling like a total fool.

And this book does just that. A perfect ending for Tuttle and Amanda. Forever is the finale in this series and also the second book in Tuttle and Amanda's odd relationship. Throughout this book, these two go back and forth on what they are. Monica does a great job of delivering the teenage drama and angst in this one. Even thought this book surrounds Tuttle and Amanda, we do see a lot of the other character I love that I when I am reading a book and by the end of it I am smiling like a total fool.

Even thought this book surrounds Tuttle and Amanda, we do see a lot of the other characters too. We get to see how things pan out for Livvy and Ryan. We get to learn a little more about Kyla, Connor and see a bit of change in Em.

None of their stories takes away from the main story and adds into the flow everything. Monica really wrote a great story full of teenage angst and typical drama. She was able to put you back in that frame of mind with how teenagers react to things. They don't think stuff through a lot of time and just react or they tend to worry over things more than talk it out; things like that are typical teen reactions. And Monica really hit that perfectly. As much as I hated to see this series end, Monica gave us the best closing possible for all characters.

However, I am hoping that we may get a few standalones for a character or two that really stood out in this book. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good YA romance read. Apr 08, Paperback Princess rated it liked it. I expected a little more from Amanda and Tuttle.. Yes Jordan realizes what a mistake he's made breaking Amanda's heart and he promises to change but he really doesn't do anything different.

Amanda is still incredibly insecure Livvy is still annoying as hell.. Ryan is still immature.. Em is still shady as Fck.

Nothing really changes or gets resolved.. Mar 19, Nicole Turner rated it it was amazing. This book was the perfect end to their epic love story, it was filled with lots of teenage angst. I absolutely loved these books, Monica is a fantasic story teller! I recieved this ARC for free and chose to leave an honest review. Mar 16, Alicia rated it it was amazing.

I smiled throughout most of this story just because I loved how much these two were perfect for each other. They both grew so much apart, as well as together. I loved how much Jordan fought to get what he wanted and I love that Amanda didn't give up on him, even when she felt that she should-especially with so many people telling her she was "too good" for him. As for the other characters in this series - I still can't stand Livvy and Em has grown on me. I really hope we get more books, especially if there's more Jormanda. Or is it Amordan?? Apr 04, Sarah - Musings of the Modern Belle rated it really liked it.

There is drama, some swoonworthy John Hughes's moments, and a HEA every girl dreams of having for the culmination of her high school career. It is truly and entertaining read from cover to cover. Jordan Tuttle owns my teenage heart. He is the iconic high school hero. High school quarterback, the elusive and brooding type, doesn't do the girlfriend thing, but Jordan is more than that. This kid has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and as adeptly explained by Amanda, he is broken and flawed by the dysfunctional family he has.

Through the book though Jordan learns that this doesn't mean he can't love and be loved in return. Watching him come to this revelation is amazing as I just fell in love with this character from the beginning of More than Friends, and his development and growth was worth the wait for readers and Amanda. Amanda is a teen heroine I actually really respect. From the moment at the end of More than Friends, I wanted to high five her because I was so proud of her strength.

Throughout this book she continue to exhibit that strength, putting Jordan in his place when needed, demanding what she deserves, telling her friends when their wrong, and so much more. This girl's moral compass is spot on, and she is so kind. What I love most about her though is her ability to love! They way she loves without holding back and forgives is astounding and speaks to her maturity. Her reward for being an amazing heroine is that HEA she deserves just as much as Tuttle.

Compared to the previous books, Forever is pretty low on the angst and drama, particularly because Amanda and Tuttle are low drama people. There is still conflict with Jordan needing to win back Amanda, and of course it isn't just that easy. He has issues to work through as a result of his family, and she has insecurities to work through, resulting in setbacks. Monica Murphy however delivers a conclusion to their story that will thrill readers and lovers of this series.

Amanda and Jordan's story will be going down as one of my favorite YA novels. It perfectly encapsulates high school. Everything from the friendships to the romances is exhibited with complete accuracy. Amanda and Jordan are phenomenal characters, and seeing them develop and change into something real is rewarding.

The feeling you get when you finish the last book in a series that you absolutely loved from the very start. These characters have my heart and I'm not ready to say goodbye. Hopefully Monica Murphy will feel bad for all of us having withdrawals and maybe write a few spinoffs to make us feel better!!

I adored the Forever series. It's young love at its finest and it brought back so many memories—ones you wish you could experience The feeling you get when you finish the last book in a series that you absolutely loved from the very start. It's young love at its finest and it brought back so many memories—ones you wish you could experience for the first time and others, well not so much. This couple is by far one of my all time favorites. They make me swoon and melt and with the way Ms. Murphy writes the scenes, I swear they're so crystal clear and perfectly described, you feel as if you're living the book.

Tuttle and Amanda have had some major roadblocks to overcome including Jordan's ability to open up and let Amanda in. I don't wanna give anything away, but WOW he has some major groveling to do. I loved the teenage angst and the push and pull. My heart was hurting for Amanda and Tuttle—I didn't want the story to end, yet I couldn't wait to find out how things would turn out. Hold you down, tie you up, whatever it takes to convince you that I mean it. That I want to fight for you.

She gives me whiplash in a good way! The other supporting characters are once again so fantastic, I truly hope Ms. Murphy gives us more from this great group of characters. Apr 07, Derna rated it really liked it. Having read the last two books when I sat down to read this, I was prepared for eye rolling moments because of the drama filled high school antics of the characters.

But I was pleasantly surprised as Amanda Winters and Jordan Tuttle's story to me was low on drama, and the high school antics and I liked that. I think my eye rolling count was under five while reading this book. The story was easy to read there was a sense that Amanda and Jordan had grown up a bit. Don't get me wrong Amanda still over thought things, when it came to Tuttle, but she knew she was doing it. These two were definitely the most mature out of their crazy bunch of friends. Jordan knew that he had not treated Amanda the best, but she was his weakness, and he wanted to make it up to her and prove how much that he loved her.

I liked that at the end by the end of the book that Jordan was still Jordan. He wasn't perfect he had his fault, and Amanda did try to change him. And I think she wants me too. That it's okay to let love into your life. There was still drama for some and other not so much.

I would adore maybe a novella about these two just to see what they are getting up to in the years ahead. This was definitely a book that left me with a smile on my face.

Mar 29, Deniz rated it liked it. This installment is mostly about Amanda and Tuttle. In fact it picks up right where the last book ended. To be honest I expected that there would be another book in the series I don't know why but I kinda did. After finishing, I checked to see when it would be, to discover that this was the final book in the series. Which is kinda sad, because I don't feel we got enough of Em.

Nor I find Livvy's ending satisfyi 3. Nor I find Livvy's ending satisfying. So I kinda hope there will be a book featuring Em and Cannon I thoroughly enjoyed all the dramas and all the angst until the last big drama. I think since there won't be another book, Murphy should have instead put more Em and Cannon moments in. Cannon is beyond awesome in this book. We get to see Ems vulnerable side and her friendship with Amanda does redeem her in my eyes. Ryan and Livvy are as annoying as ever. And somehow we never got enough about Dustin in this book, if you ask me.

But maybe I am wrong and we will still get another book one where we actually see what happens to Dustin and we get to more details on Em and Canon? I did devour this book just like the previous. This is well written, it captivating. I just could have done without the last drama. And while I feel that Amanda's and Tuttle's story is satisfyingly wrapped up. I would like some more closure with Em and Livvy's stories. Basically I would like another book. Which no doubt I would devour just as fast as I have all the books in the series. This is an angst and drama filled series, with characters that I wanted to slap at times and yet I did end up caring for them.

This is due to Murphy's impeccable timing and writing of emotions. Big drama with lots of bite but also heart. The character building is done so well, I feel like I know each of the cast- and we talk a rather big on. While at first one thinks they might be a bit cliche, they are actually all quite unique.

Sure we have cocky jocks and arrogant cheerleaders in the throw, but as the story goes on, even they get a different layer added. The two ex-besties who I totally despised, were totally redeemed through Amanda. Though I am still not sure what drove them to act the way they both acted. A series that was thoroughly entertaining and captivating!

Can't wait to see what Murphy is writing next! Apr 10, Irma rated it really liked it. I don't even know what to say. If you'll go through my previous reviews, you'll see that I was in love with Tuttle and Mandy both as characters and also as a coupple. The two of them together are amazing! Apr 09, andrea have sassy books to read rated it liked it Shelves: Apr 14, Chrissy rated it really liked it Shelves: After the the ending of More than Friends I needed to see how these two would end up, I was left wanting more of Amanda and Jordan and was left frustrated with how their story ended.

Forever was a perfect ending for these two, but not without more angst and drama for these two to go through! These two characters are definitely frustrating at times, and a few times I forgot that they are teenagers, http: These two characters are definitely frustrating at times, and a few times I forgot that they are teenagers, so you have to forgive them for their idiotic ways of thinking.

Both of them are immature at times and do some stupid things on their way back to each other, but throughout the book you know they both only want to be with each other, it just takes a lot for them to figure it out. Watching these two navigate their relationship and their way back to each other was awkward and endearing all at the same time. It was funny to see the high school drama as well with the rumors and how everything is taken out of context with everything that these two do, but I loved how protective Jordan is of Amanda.

This book had me all over the place with my emotions with these characters. I wanted to love them then hate them, then scream at them, then yell at them, then I wanted to be happy for them, but then in the end I was just left happy! This was a sweet book, and I really enjoyed watching these two make their way back to each other. I definitely enjoyed this series by Monica Murphy and hope to see more books with other characters in the future! Mar 31, Amy rated it it was amazing. He's brooding He's intelligent. And when he likes you, he makes you feel like complete. Unfortunately, all of that brooding and inscrutability can cause problems.

Amanda certainly thinks so. She loves Jordan, and she wants him to love her back, but he keeps pushing her away. She understands that much of this has to do with his overwhelmingly dysfunctional family, but no amount of understanding helps when the guy When it comes to YA heroes, Jordan Tuttle is All The Things. She understands that much of this has to do with his overwhelmingly dysfunctional family, but no amount of understanding helps when the guy you love feels like you're better off without him.

Fix You (Second Chances, #1) by Mari Carr

Fortunately, Monica Murphy puts us in Jordan's head as well as Amanda's, so we can see what he's thinking and feeling. You will find yourself wishing that you were standing next to him, whispering for him to not make the mistake he's about to make. Some of Jordan's missteps come from him not realizing how his behavior hurts Amanda, and some comes from his misguided sense that he needs to protect her from himself.

He loves her, though, and once he realizes that he needs her every bit as much as he loves her, he is determined to make her give him a second or third or fourth or eighth chance. Murphy gets her audience. She knows that teen girls will keep making concessions for Tuttle and that they will not stop to think, "I've forgiven him enough. Such is Amanda's love for Tuttle.
