The wall go up an over a nearby hill and can be walked. Then there was a boat trip to the Island and town of Korcula. The town is very small but very pleasant. It has several very old churches and town walls and towers. It is also reputed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. Lastly there was a stop at a local winery for a tasting. The wine tasting was fine, but rather short and at the end of the trop. Would like to return back to Korcula and stay there for a few days.

Nice island for bike ride. This was the perfect solution as opposed to a 14 hour day using the ferry. We got picked up from our hotel at 8, had an informative guide and good bus driver, over 3 hours in Korcula and some wine tasting on the way back. Very relaxing and back in Dubrovnik before 6. Highly recommended if you are short of time. The tour bus and the Korcula guides were both extremely knowledgeable of their respective sites.

There was ample time between stops and on Korcula for solo exploring. The wine tasting stop was fantastic. Highly recommend the tour. Thank you for a memorable experience. Robert B. Viator's Korcula day trip was perfect for us. Reasonably priced and well-regarded, we were picked up at our hotel on-time and driven - via a comfortable bus - through the beautiful Croatian countryside. We stopped at the small but interesting village of Ston for a coffee stop and then proceeded on our way to take the ferry to the island.

Our guide was knowledgable and attentave, but gave us plenty of time to wander around on our own and have personal time. The stop at the winery on the way back to Dubrovnik was a nice end to the trip. We got picked up outside the hotel as agreed on time and were met at the new port by our tour guide.

Ivana was great fun and spoke great English and German. We had a lovely drive up the coast in an air conditioned bus which was a god send on such a hot day. We then got the ferry across to Korcula where we had three hours to explore. Ivana did a walking tour but we were unable to go on this due to my friend being on crutches. Ivana and the bus driver made things as easy as possible for her.

The Island of Korcula is beautiful and well worth the tripup the coast. On the way back we stopped off at a winery for a couple of samples which was great as it meant we could all have a sleep on the way back to Dubrovnik.

I would highly recommend this trip.
