From the previous books, we've come to know he isn't like his brothers and he is a little different. After an eye opening performance in book two, I expected no less from him. Cassie is the woman whom Troy thought betrayed him, once he finds her; he tries to subdue his inner beast. However, she could be a traitor to him, but his physical need to have her takes over. While Troy is metamorphosing into something he can't explain, everyone tries to band together to help him. As one chapter closes, another begins.

This book brought out other characters that I am really looking forward to reading about. I am eager for Nico. Nico is Alpha and an appetizer to what I predict to be another great series by the author; and judging by the epilogue, I can't wait. I wasn't too thrilled with these books.

The characters didn't have a lot of dimension, and the stories felt like they were moving along too quickly. I'm coming to realize this is a pet peeve of mine, especially in romance novels, how quickly things progress sometimes. I also felt like there were things about the writing style I wasn't fond of, but I can't recall specifics. Just ended up being something I wasn't crazy about reading. This one was good.

Vampire Wardens is a trilogy about 3 brothers who were brutally attacked as humans and to save their lives they were given the option to become vampires, vampires that would police the vampire world as well as other supernatural creatures. The first story centre' around Evan, its hundreds of years since his transformation and he's now working a case hunting werewolves that have turned into killers due to a virus. Marissa is a nurse who Evan finds himself pulled to, but when she is attacked by on Vampire Wardens is a trilogy about 3 brothers who were brutally attacked as humans and to save their lives they were given the option to become vampires, vampires that would police the vampire world as well as other supernatural creatures.

Marissa is a nurse who Evan finds himself pulled to, but when she is attacked by one of these wolves he must kill the wolf before she is turned whilst infected with the virus too. I really enjoyed this book, the pace was fast, the characters were likeable and the story kept me glued to the pages, I devoured this book in one setting and went straight onto the next. The Second story is Vampire Warden Aiden, he's investigating a new drug 'Blood Red' the mix of werewolf and vampire blood creates an insatiable desire for pleasure, without pleasure there is pain more than likely death.

Kelly Riggs is a coroner who has not only caught Aidens eye but the eyes of those distributing 'Blood Red' as well. I preferred this one to the first one, I guess I just liked the characters that bit more. I again read this in one sitting, Lisa Renee Jones's stories always pull me in and the only time i come up for air is when the story has finished and i need to search for the next.

The third story is the story I was waiting for, the brother with the silver eyes. Troy isn't like his brothers, he was betrayed years ago and now he is no longer just vampire, but a hybrid between vampire and werewolf he doesn't understand. Cassie is the woman who betrayed him and who he will hunt down for revenge, but when your enemy is the woman you loved it isn't that simple.

I loved Troys story, it was the most developed of the three for me and had the most character development.

The only problem with this book for me was that it was too short, the beginning, middle and end were all exciting and I just wished there were more pages. I loved this series about three brothers who are Vampire Wardens who meet the girls for them.

Hot Vampire Kiss I loved this story about Marissa and Evan who meet when Evan is hunting a werewolf and Marissa becomes the victim of the wolf. It was a great story that had me hooked from the beginning. As Marissa tried to resist the wolf inside her and Evan tried to protect her. It was a great story though I wanted to find out what happened next.

Hot Vampire Seduction This w I loved this series about three brothers who are Vampire Wardens who meet the girls for them. It was a great story and I loved that we found out more about Aiden and Troy in this book. Though it never gave a real update about the last book. Still was a great book though that I wanted to continue. It was a great story with Troy thinking Cassie had betrayed him when he was attacked and trying and failing to resist the attraction between them.

Then working together to help cure him. The only issue I found with all the books was that the story flowed daily then seemed to skip a few days or over a week. I personally think it affected the flow of the books. But they were all great books and cannot wait to continue into the werewolf series. I was going through a vampire burnout when I decided to pick up Vampire Wardens, and Ms. Jones fixed me right up. I loved these three novellas!

The only complaint I had was that I wanted more at the end of each one, which is a complement to the author that I didn't want them to end. The stories contain alpha males who are loyal to their friends and family, kick evil butt and do it with style. The heroes are brothers who are looking for a wolf that has turned their brother Troy into something no I was going through a vampire burnout when I decided to pick up Vampire Wardens, and Ms.

The heroes are brothers who are looking for a wolf that has turned their brother Troy into something no one understands- a werewolf who's still a vampire. This ties the three stories together, though there are subplots as well. Troy's story is last, and I enjoyed his the most. All three heroines are strong and give the males a run for their money- each in their own way. Look for the character Marcus in all three stories--each time he appears I laugh, then sigh.

Kelly fits the victim profile perfectly other than her chronological age , but she looks the part, so she plans to go the nightclubs as bait and try to get her hands on the mystery drug. Corrupt creepy cops and Aiden's brother Troy, who is a damaged hybrid vampire, round out the cast. Kelly burns for Aiden and in frustration decides to take matters into her own hands Will Kelly get hurt or killed in her quest to capture a killer? Is this a doomed love affair? I really enjoyed this story and appreciated its steamy parts and the world that the author created along with the mystery-suspense!

I didn't realize this was a series, and now I want to read more of this world with Aiden's hot Warden brothers! Lisa Renee Jones can write a steamy and hot romantic suspense story and she is becoming an auto-buy author for me.

The series continues in it's erotic vein adding a little more heat with a Menage. In this installment we meet Vampire Warden, Aiden Brooks. He is the middle child of three brothers who are all Wardens. Aiden is very level headed and purpose driven.

He is not looking for love but finds it unexpectantly in the arms of coroner Kelly Riggs. Kelly is investigating a serial killer using a strange new drug called Blood Red to Hot Vampire Seduction is the second installment of the Vampire Wardens series. Kelly is investigating a serial killer using a strange new drug called Blood Red to kill young women. There are no signs of trama on the bodies but they have all been drained of blood and have a trace of some strange drug. The traces are too small to test so Kelly decides she needed to go out and get a sample from the dealers hanging around the club scene.

Little does Kelly know, Aiden is on the case because this drug is a hybrid of vampire and werewolf blood. A bad combination for any number of reasons including the werewolf supplying his blood is on the Warden's 'Most Wanted' hit list. This book moves the story forward more rapidly than the first one. I felt the first one was too rushed but I am certain this one really needed a few more chapters. It was too compact and the ending felt much more abrupt.

I am hopeful that Ms. Jones will make 3rd brother Troy's book a full novel. Troy has some major issues that need to be explored. The world of the governing vampire council and the Wardens is incomplete as well. There is also Marcus. What is his story? I also want to understand the ramifications of the werewolf civil war. Why is there a sudden mutation of the werewolf virus? I will admit that this series can become addictive if one has the patience. I don't know that I can do another short story for Troy. Troy's book has no title or release date yet so I can't say I'll buy it.

But I am hopeful because this series has something special. Minus 2 stars for the abrupt ending and the lack of revealing more about the wolves leaving 3 for everything else. Vampire Warden, Ai Hero: Mar 26, Al97 rated it it was ok. But considering she didn't really upset me cuz ive read her other work and its mind blowing comparing to this rushed writing. Now don't go all crazy bitch on me. I have ligitamate reasons why I think this book needed to be more developed.

I don't want to parade on Renes books but I swear the whole drug scene and ending her pain with intense pleasure was ridiculous. But ilI got to give it to her it was one conniving way to incorporate erotic sex into the book.

And maybe I shouldn't be so judgmental because maybe I did subconsciously know that there'd be some kinky shit going on in this book. He turning her into a bloodsucking fiend and she says yes like she's deciding what flavor ice cream she wants. Now I know some of u romance readers are thinking that she just loves him so much that shed do anything to be with him but seriously people this scene was really outrageous. Aiden is a vampire warden and Kelly is a doctor in forensics. This is the 2ndbook in the Vampire Wardens Series. The story develops around the two many characters Aiden and Kelly.

Aiden is the 2nd of three brothers. This story has reference to book 1 which may indicate it is a good idea to read them in order. That way one can have an understanding of the characters and the story. This short story has an interesting plot; the warden is fighting against a new breed of werewolf by the name of Andre, who has developed a drug using a combination of werewolf blood and vampire which brings extreme pain in the absence of pleasure. I like the two main characters, Aiden is a vampire who has had his share of pain. His character is strong, intelligent and sexy. There is uniqueness to his character, perhaps his sensitivity, or just his character ability to bring emotions out of the reader.

Its a fun and sexy read you wont put down. Usually I feel that novella's have something missing but not with Lisa Renee Jones. Her details blend together perfectly.

Its not easy to amp up the passion in a novella without it feeling rushed but these 3 novellas thats not the case at all. The action is packed and the passion is so HOT youll be fanning yourself. Aiden, a trustworthly, honorable, sexy vampire wa And the storie continues with this HOT installment.

Lisa Renee Jones writes unforgettable characters. Theres a scene in this book that's so HOT it will burn your kindle. I loved this book with a passion. The first story featured Evan's story and I liked him immediately, I can say the same thing about Aiden, he's very likeable, honorable and fierce.

These brothers are fabulous, delicious and Hawt! The story moves very fast and I liked it that way. I felt invested in the characters and in the stories, even though they are short stories. It pulled me in and kept my interest and by butt on the edge of my seat.

Reward Yourself

Now on to Book Troy's book, which may be the most moving of the three because of what he's suffered through and has so far survived. I hope that Marcus gets a story, he's the most powerful and a ancient vampire. I would love to know more about him. Great characters with smart, sexy HEAs. I look forward to the next three books in the series and so will you. I went back and forth about whether to give this story 2 stars or 3.

Then about halfway through, the author seemed to lose her feel for the story and melodrama and cheesy lines started sneaking their way in. The reason for a menage was a bit lame too. I think the hero would have had difficulty getting over his brother having been with the woman he loved, even if it was "necessary to save her l I went back and forth about whether to give this story 2 stars or 3. Okay, okay I will stop laughing and finish this. It also needed an epilogue since the ending was a bit abrupt. That's two books in one week with an abrupt ending. I hope it isn't a new trend in romance novels.

Because I enjoyed the beginning, I ended up deciding on 3 stars. Jan 05, Mare rated it really liked it. Nice to meet Vampire Warden Brooks 2. So the Vampire Council has sent in Wardens to clean this obvious breech in vampire etiquette. When Kelly put herself in a dangerous situation, Aiden comes to her rescue and keeping her safe means keeping her close. This one like the first had an engaging storyline, and even though there was no intimacy until probably half way through, its H.

T index was off the charts. While this was Aidens story the author did give us more details into Troys tortured past making me extremely anxious to get started on book 3 Hot Vampire Touch. This is book 2 in the Vampire Warden series and I loved it! I prefered this one to the first one and I gave that 5stars, suddenly wishing the scale went higher! You wont be disappointed. But the changes that started that night after his attack are getting harder for Troy to control. Now at this point I feel the story turns too suddenly, and then ends. I think a little more action would have helped with the story…but it was still OK. This gave his character more depth and more layers to peel away. Also, being the last of the brothers to have his story told, the reader gets to experience him through two other books before hearing his story so there is more time to connect with his character.

Troy and Cassie's story was short I really liked Troy, he and his brothers are honorable men. Troy has loved Cassie from afar, she's a sexy, smart and sassy werewolf who know how to handle Troy. And he needs that in a mate. This was an engaging read for me, I love this book as much if not more than the first two in the series.

    People who enjoy vampires and werewolves and hot sexy encounters will definitely love this book. These men are lethal and I like it like tha Troy and Cassie's story was short These men are lethal and I like it like that! Get this book, get this series Jan 16, Mhollie rated it it was ok Recommends it for: In the forward or prologue, the hero is named Taylor. Not so in the rest of the book or in the first 2 books of the series, for that matter. His name is Troy. This does not leave me very hopeful for the rest.

I literally read it in one sitting, I was just unable to put it down. I loved the story line and the characters, and hated to see it end. Lisa is a very talented author and I am so grateful that I read this series. She has definitely created a fan for life, and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Of course after the first one I had to read them all! This is one of few authors that can weave the primal in with love, desire, protectiveness, action, etc.

    Worth-reading story although it's fast-paced. Really intense and hard explicit plot. Your mind might get contaminated with his hot and sensuous appearance.
