PRAYER TO MOTHER

The fourth is moksha , to realize ultimate freedom. We tend to think of an aim as something outside of ourselves or a target we have to reach, but that is not the case with these four aims. Living according to dharma creates a foundation for a prosperous life. Live with higher purpose, be on the way of righteousness. Dharma is that inherent support for us to live in the highest way and to be all that we can be.

When you live according to dharma you think bigger and support the wellbeing of all. We find these universal teachings not only in the Vedas but also in the words of Jesus, says Yogacharya. Seek first this higher consciousness, the awareness of the spiritual truth of life. Seek to live in harmony with that truth of your being. And then prosperity comes.

We are innately full, whole, and the drive to prosper comes from the soul, from the divine imperative to actualize and express. Life becomes very hard and burdensome. Anytime we feel that life is a burden, we can know that we have left God out of it. When we remember that our prospering depends on our relationship with the Infinite, life unfolds with joy — with kama.

We no longer suffer a sense of aloneness. When we start looking, we find examples of people living courageously according to dharma and kama, living their higher purpose and prospering. Notice it is possible to shine a mighty light on racism, injustice and systemic oppression by bending a knee. A gospel centered around the temporal self - fleeting happiness, earthly success, vain prosperity, things such as these - is the primary ambition of the half-hearted Christian; the one who somewhat believes he is subject to an eternal death; the one who just might believe in men before God, who morbidly fears seeming less than anyone else.

The man of this school feels deeply that he has but one life to live, that this must be his only chance, and therefore must have it all in his favor - from glory to comfort to riches - and have it right this instant. He is but hinting that he is overcome because he insists always that he must overcome, that his judgment comes now and by the persons around him.

The point is, however, in this sense, that by grace the Christian is indeed free, but only for as long as he wants to be free - the practicality of true freedom: that of God which offers not so much freedom to be like the world as it does freedom from the pressures of having to be like the world. For Divine Law is based solely on love and freedom; whereas secular law, pressure and imitation.

Product description

It is in my car, and every time I start the engine, the book plays. I find that my life is being subtly changed as I go about my errands. The overall effect is a greater sense of peace, serenity, generosity and abundance in this busy time of year. I look forward to studying the hard copy in my leisure, but until then, I am allowing the book to transform me through the spoken words.
