Place flour into a medium size mixing bowl, add seasonings, then stir in well. Coat Scrapple with seasoned flour, shake off excess flour, then sit aside. Place a skillet over medium-high heat 7 , then add oil and butter. After 3 to 4 minutes, slowly add scrapple to the hot oil and fry for 3 to 4 minutes per side, then sit aside on a paper towel plate or cooking rack to drain excess oil. I used a electric stove and a T-fal electric skillet to make this recipe. I fried all the scrapple in 2 batches which took a total of minutes. I cooked 8 pieces first, then the remaining 4.

I will try dusting it with flour as in the recipe, and I have ample maple syrup, but the touch of garlic powder is new to me, so thanks for all the advice. You can never have enough scrapple! Oh my gosh.
