I have long since replaced all of my magazines followers with Magpul ones and haven't had a single magazine related malfunction since. I do wish that they had evaluated the Gen 3 PMag before doing this. I truly believe the polymer magazines are superior, except for once instance. When we did boat raids, the combination of salt water and sand on the beach seized them all up. I did not have such issues with aluminum magazines.
With the PMags, I had to rinse them with fresh water before they would function.

I will step back into my lane. I no longer have a dog in this fight. The non-combatibility is an issue I have seen with every unit that deployed with IARs. Seems that an EMAG pushed by the gunners that is readily identified and tested would be the ticket.
