The vault itself was several feet wide and greater in length and had been lined with stone tablets or tiles, each about 2 feet by nearly 3 feet high. Once unearthed, the tomb had been pilfered and the curator spent 10 years searching out the tiles from China, Europe and the USA. The pieces were valued, because of the figures etched in detail on each one. There was no writing on them, but, assembled, they told in picture form a loose biography of the deceased.
